WorkSafe is New Zealand's workplace health and safety regulator.
We work with industry, employers and workers to:
• educate them about their workplace health and safety responsibilities • engage them in making changes that reduce the chances of harm • enforce workplace health and safety legislation.
We are also the regulator for electricity and gas safety in the workplace and home.
I think the king's relationship with Jesus may be about the people just borrowing the king’s money with the misleading parties. I also think that the governor of the central bank and the bank’s relationship with the king may be about a class society lending the king's money in exchange e.g. Bankrate and that this should be investigated by a new state.
Hey my names Brad Richardson, I hit a. Swurline carrying 19,000 kva 3 times. I’m in Australia. Get jarden Nelson to contact me, we got a lot to talk about… I’m going in this years finke desert race n just had my first motox race this week. You tell him from me, your only disability is your own mindset!!! I’m hear to help him the whole way through life. I had my accident in 2018. Your not dead until your buried deep in the earth… I have to go back to the next moto x race to see 3 people in there first race because they were so damn proud to see mine! No matter what jarden wants to do in life, he can still do it!! Nothing is impossible!! Thankyou for your time.
This is the most idiotic idea I've ever heard, I take pride in my beard and it has taken six years to grow , my mask already fits well and these paid actors is cringe worthy, I am being threatened to lose my job if I don't shave my beard, its going to cause more harm than good. Most men ain't going to bow down to some clowns in a office making money off these so called testing of the seal of a masks
It's called a JSEA or SSSP and it only works if you have an ERP/rescue plan. It's all great talk but it needs to be culture, not direction. A mower blade can come detached and kill innocent bystanders (has actually happened overseas). SOPs/pre-start checks are great but, again, it needs to be culture. WorkSafe NZ will always struggle to understand why New Zealand's workplaces claim 1 life every week.
Nice touch to have the sound get dampened while it was inside the enclosure (0:16 and 0:29) but I wish it was a bit more consistent for the other methods too!
Fantastic, would be great to see where we going with Safety 2 and doing Safety Differently. I'm available and want to be part of the change in how we do safety.
I wonder how many forestry employees in New Zealand have developed carpal tunnel or hand arm vibration syndrome from working with chainsaw's. I also wonder if these guy's know what harm is been done to their hands and wrist while operatoring hand power tools. Are health and safety leaders guessing the numbers ?...
Carpal tunnel is an agonizing debilitating experience. Then there are the bad lower back complaints, Corns on the toes and feet. Calais on the palms and flanges, Yeah, there is that wear and tear on the body that you become conditioned to. Then, after a while, knees and hips . Like machines, parts wear out and need replacement
Great video. I was concerned, however, about the footage showing the Scaffolding Truck driver who had his left hand resting on the steering wheel as he was driving, with his other hand holding onto the middle of the steering wheel by his fingertips. What ever happened to the 10-2 rule of being able to control a vehicle in an emergency situation?
i recently found out the fit test is requested by manufacturer for Positive pressure. You still need a fit test and if its loose it has to still pass the criteria. my failed due to my face having too wide a gap for the smallest fit. It was very interesting. The reason being if the battery runs out you are literally not being protected if the fit failed. it was a shigumatsu mask
