There are some individual cigars that stand out as good as padrons, some Ligas, Ashtons, Davidoffs and Fuentes, but no brand as a whole, including any cuban habanos brands, deliver the quality and consistency of padron… Padron offers a unique flavor profile and is definitely king of that profile… If you like spice and leather, or a mild creamy nuttyness, Padron is not going to check that box… the quality of the construction alone is best in the industry, and the flavors are top notch.
Nice smoking room. First time stopping and watching. I believe you have cigar beetles in the Cuban cigars. It would be recommended you take them all out and freeze them. Also the cohibas you have behike/lcdh cohiba are most likely not real. The lcdh cohibas are one of the hardest to find, some say they didn’t even release yet. Most likely fake especially with singles
Going to Mexico in February and I will most definitely be bringing back some Habanos in my checked luggage, take the wrapper off, put a different wrapper over it, simple as that
Just found your videos, hope all is well, will be praying for a safe recovery. Also, what a dumb law, can’t bring cigars back from one country out of the entire world?? Ridiculous
Going to Cancun and will stop by La Casa De Habano and pick up a few Cubans. Want to bring a few back on the airplane, just going to stick em in the pockets of my pants in the checked luggage
I just had a padron 1964 and I'm not sure if I had a bad cigar but it was not a good experience, the cigar was extremely bitter and hard to smoke, I have one more in my tuppedor that I'll be smoking in a few days, hopefully it will be a better stick, in the mean time, my father flor de las antillas in toro size is my favorite.
It’s not the same since Esam left. For Davidoff I personally think the Nicaragua is best. This dude missed almost every great boutique stick in OSI and stuck to all the everyday stuff??
Hey Sir I’m looking to go to Cuba from the USA. Would you be able to help with some info on do’s and dont’s etc, and where to buy legit cigars. Also, how many cigars can I bring back to the US with me.
i love that in the country where the best rollers get 2 dollar a day to roll 200 cigars, the very manufacturer, without any middle man, is selling it for an avr of 100 dollar a stick. it just shows you what happens if a largely corrupt and disfunctional goverment entity (habanos) is "looking after" the industry. they only float by due to some european customers, whos snobery is only matched by the size of their wallets. otherwise , anybody who has the slightest idea of cigars, with no financial interest nor snobery in them can very easily tell that it is piss poor value (not poor quality, just horribly poor value), that is ran laps around by dominican and nicaraguan makers.
At 55 I don't have any morbid attachment to life despite having many things I care about: my partner, my pipes, my cat, my cigars and my bottles of wine, but I lived what I wanted so I decided to accept my destiny. The treatments with tablets first and immunotherapy prolonged my well-being but then lost effectiveness, today the necessary therapy would require a non-existent quality of life, I have tried it and I no longer intend to live in hell waiting for pharmacology to kill me after the illness. I live, love, eat, smoke and drink every day like it's my last and that's okay.
I really appreciate your videos and willingness to document and confront the various issues you are facing. Your bravery and straightforward honesty is stunning and the subject matter has been very thought provoking for me personally. I'm a cigar smoker too and I appreciate and respect the fact that you continue to just live your life as you want to on your terms when confronted with an incredibly profound challenge. Hang in there my friend!
