Adventure Ski & Snowboard School’s revolving carpet SnowSports Simulator offers Southern California skiers and snowboarders a dynamic instruction program, ideal for all ages and abilities. Its warm, dry, wide revolving carpet similar to a treadmill simulates a day of continuous skiing and riding on the mountain without the distractions of cold, crowded slopes, chairlift lines or adverse weather conditions.

The revolving carpet SnowSports Simulator is perfect for developing efficient habits and skills and improving your physical strength and conditioning. A full-length mirror at the bottom of the slope lets you see while you learn and monitor your improvement. One lesson can accomplish as much or more than a full day of group lessons on the snow.

Considering the cost of a snow vacation lift tickets, lessons, equipment, transportation, and your valuable free time...
A lesson program on our revolving carpet SnowSports Simulator is a wise investment!!

I don't know what that is, but carving, its not.... if thats the only way to turn on this, then its too far removed from snow skiing to be of any use

i know this is an old vid, but it was recommend to me. beginners please dont follow this. you will learn bad habits. watch malcom moore instead. not that everything he says is bad, but this shows steering with the back foot . all this will do is make you sideslip all over the slope. telling a beginner to steer with back foot = them on their ass all day. if you want to begin with good fundamentals for carving do not do this.

If you are someone whose feet has spent more time on toes rather the heel, if you catch my meaning, are there any exercises or tips that can improve your "heel game"?

Literally the best skiing tutorial I've seen on RU-vid. The drills are so intuitive. One-legged skiing really teaches you to put ur bodyweight onto the outside ski & interestingly makes it looks like snowboarding. (except you upper body is not aligned with lower body) From there, you can easily turn your now weightless inside ski and make parallel turns!

The skis know how to turn. They require that you face down the hill and balance from foot to foot. You don't have to force them by thinking about turning with your legs. Your skis turn your feet and legs, not the other way around. If you try to force them, you will use the wrong parts of your body.

You said that by putting more weight on one foot makes you turn, then how come at 1:41 when all of your weight was on your right foot you didn’t turn left?? 🤔
