@@Portageediggah really appreciate you watching my friend,, thanks for tuning in and leaving me a comment!! Blandford? Is that the hunt thats coming up at the end of the month? Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it to that one,, wish I could go but timing is not on my side, I got too much going on, if you end up going hope you have a blast,, and definitely keep me posted if you find anything awesome,, take care ☘️Ray
@@stevemyo8137 i appreciate you watching,, in this vid im using the Minelab Equinox 600, but i have several others,, thanks for the comment!!! I may add, its not the machine you use, its the ground you hunt, that determines your finds, i can swing the most expensive metal detector made, if theres nothing good in the ground where im hunting, im not gonna find nothing good!! ☘️Ray
Not sure why I never got the notification for this message I'm really sorry my friend, keep in mind you need other accessories in order to have a successful day of metal detecting,,aside from the Machine itself,, you will definitely need a handheld pinpointer to help you find whatever Target it is you're looking for in the dirt,, the metal detector itself will tell you where to dig, but once you dig your hole you need to find whatever it is in the dirt and that's very hard without a pinpointer,, a good pinpointer runs around 1-120,, just a fyi,, you can get cheaper ones that do the trick on eBay or Amazon but those tend to die out rather quick,, but best machine on the market without a doubt for under 500, is the Minelab Xterra Pro, it runs around $270 and still leaves you enough money to get a pinpointer,, hope this helps, again sorry for the late reply I usually am right on top of my notifications
@413MassDigger ,thanks and no problem with getting back sooner. My research came up with the same option. I feel more confident about purchasing one now .Any specific brand pinpointer?I'd like one that's accurate and lasts. Thanks for the help.
@@CRAIGPOWERSOUTDOORS best on the Market that just about everyone uses is called a Garrett Carrot, its the orange waterproof, lasts forever pinpointer, they run at 127.45 ,, anything cheaper than that would be a knock off, theres a few on the market that are knock offs, anything made from Garrett are the most popular, most reliable, Nokta Detectors makes a new one also, its called the Accupoint, which is also pretty good, the more money, the better they are, like i said on ebay and amazon you can find cheaper ones that will do the trick but who knows how long they will last, some last a month, some last 3 months, you figure, these things are turned on and off countless times per hunt, so the circuit boards in them fry out if they arnt built right, want one that will last forever or as long as you got fresh batteries , get the orange Garrett Carrot,, want one thats rechargable and lasts forever lol, get the Yellow Nokta Accupoint,, good luck bud, keep me posted
Oh my word! Gorgeous walker Ray! Congratulations! Still a top bucket lister for us! We have found Barber, Benny and Kennedy halves but never a Walker or a Seated. Keep up the great work my friend. 🙂
@@purnellrichardson3716 sure has been my friend, way to hot, this is a bit older footage I've had on my phone from a few weeks ago, but it's been brutal here, cooled off a little bit couple weeks ago, now it's back to hot again, I'm hoping for a mild winter, I love fall hunting but it's depressing because winters just around the corner,, appreciate you tuning in and watching, thanks for the comment man, ☘️Ray
@@MD-NWWI nice man, glad you're getting out a bit, its been a bit for me, finally got around to putting the footage i had on my phone out!! Looking forward to it cooling down and being able to get out into the woods where i belong lol, glad to hear all is well brother, take care ☘️
Your so fake i live like 5 miles from you lol how your channel works I'm gonna start mine i will never find the things you do because i will be doing only live diggs show the signal then dig it your starting to look fake I'm sure you find some of the signals but you never dig live and i will so let's hunt you like 20 mins away from me me
It's funny you say that man you know what doing RU-vid videos for so long whenever I do live digs I got people in my comments saying that I'm taking too long and bitching that I shouldn't be using a shovel and complaining about not spraying coins it's always something with you guys,, and stop insinuating that I plant anything because for one you live in Massachusetts you should know that our ground is super old and just about everywhere I hunt I find something awesome,, on top of it if I'm going to ever plant anything it sure as hell isn't going to be some crap Mercury dimes or a walker half give me a break,, and I actually saw your first comment about wanting to hook up and hunt, you're pretty much insinuating that I'm planting finds but then asking me to hunt ok
I'm just wondering how many more times I'm one vid can your day the term... GUYS ... Wow like 10 or 15 times a vid come to fitchburg and do a hunt i have an 1855 permission
So you asked me if we can hunt together but you're going to complain about how many times I say guys,, got it lol,, appreciate you watching anyway man, sorry i offended you,, take care
What silver is hard to find?? I can assure you that nothing of mine is planted I bust my ass to find what I find, this is over multiple hunts which looks like it's in the video, but it's multiple hunts put together,, If youre talking about the walker half?? Those arnt rare or hard to find at all, in my career i have found countless Walker halfs, and i hope youre not talking about mercury dimes because ive found countless mercs,, go back through my videos and you will see I find amazing stuff everywhere I hunt I live in Massachusetts the oldest state in the US pretty much lol, I have nothing to hide,, any time you'd like to take the trip out here I'd have no problem showing you you can find the same stuff I'm finding, just got to walk over it,, and I have many friends in the hobby that will vouch for how long I've been in the hobby and how dedicated I am to getting myself on good ground,, but I can assure you that walking liberty half dollars or not rare by any means,, don't get me wrong I don't find them all the time but I found enough to know that they definitely aren't hard to find,, Franklin halfs, Barber halfs, and Seated halfs are alot more difficult,, but I found all those as well,, please don't say anything of mine is planted because I take huge offense to that,, for the amount of time and hours I spend out there hunting, I appreciate you watching my videos but I can assure you there's nothing sketchy going on here,, if I'm going to plant anything it sure as hell isnt going to be common silvers, walkers are not rare
I'm from Springfield man,, I hunt alone all the time pretty much,, if you wanted to take the trip out here sometime I don't have a whole lot of spots that aren't pounded to death by me,, but it's starting to cool off a little bit we can go in my Parks woods or something around here,, or find somewhere to go im sure,, problem is my car broke down at the beginning of the summer so I'm without a car right now,,, so I'm kind of limited to the spots I can go around me,, but I'm sure in your area you got some good old spots to go, I know it gets boring sometimes hunting alone, I never have anyone to go with so I'm always going alone,, my email is in the description of this video shoot me a message, we can set something up I appreciate you watching!!

Haha appreciate it brother, just good ground thats all, and this is a handful of different hunts, i know it looks like one amazing hunt lol, but its a few different ones at the same school, so I don't want you to think im having this one amazing hunt😂😂 as always I appreciate you watching brother thanks for the comment!!☘️Ray
@@bobbishuemaker7973 absolutely my friend thank you, was happy to get that, shocked also because that place is loaded with everything but good stuff haha, I was expecting some sort of scrap or nails etc , Thanks for taking a little time of your day to watch my video, appreciate the comment bud, HH-Ray☘️
Youve got awesome producing site there and its public property so very fortunate. Im in CT and stumbled across a park that has plenty of silver dimes, indian heads, necklaces and rings in it. 1 hour and you had that many great finds is fantastic as the average person that doesnt metal detect has no idea, great video! I still have yet to find a Walker but my list of finds grows.
No no no buddy haha, it may look like that on camera, and sorry it appears that way, but this is over a handful of different hunts, like for instance the first school where i found the half dollar, was a completely different day then the other school which i was there for 3 different hunts at the sledding school, so it may seem like its one big magical hunt lol, but its not its different days sometimes up to several different hunts in my videos, its just hard to tell because im not showing that its different days or whatever,, i appreciate you watching my friend, and thanks for the comment!! Good luck on your ground, sounds alot like my finds where i hunt, HH-Ray
Ahhh ok that makes more sense but still even showing your best finds from various digs youre still blowing most out of the water. I started detecting a year ago and Ive had the fever ever since, I went through 3 machines in that time but I settled on the Manticore and the Deus II. Appreciate you recording the finds, keeps some of us going.
@@qj8933 haha thanks man, yea it's the only way I can make vids, I have some great hunts sometimes, but never enough to do a full video ya know? So I have to combined them together sometimes,, hey the manticore and the D2 are beast machines, best on the market in my opinion, I'd love to get a D2 one day but being a single pops I just can't afford one, even being a dealer myself I still can't afford one lol, I love that machine, and it's ability to determine iron targets, and it's depth is top notch,, maybe one day I'll get lucky and be able to afford one, thanks again for your time watching, it means a lot!! ☘️Ray
@@whatsintheplugdetecting23 Really appreciate you joining me ,thanks for tuning in and leaving me a comment, it's beyond appreciated!! I'll return the favor!! ☘️HH-Ray
What a great find on the walker ! Not many find them anymore. Oh that ring cracked me up. It looked like a hunk of Amethyst for the stone. Like the toy gun with the horse on it. The ponds jar is awesome with the word ponds on the jar and the lid. The silver charm is nice ! Great hunt my friend👍
@@upnorthadventureswithccc you are the second person to say amethyst ,I'm gonna have to look at it again, to me it looks both black, and clear black ,,I didn't see any color to it, but yea it's funny, I can imagine a guy giving that to his special someone 😂😂 hope you are well Miss, Thanks for tuning in☘️HH-Ray
I wanted to reach out to you because you're always good with the rocks,, you're right it is a piece of amethyst ,,i had it checked out today, not sure why I thought it was black when it's clearly dark purple,, thanks again for watching
Same here on about 95% of my schools, this particular sledding hill one, like i said i been there once before but the grass was long and soaked, so i didn't stay long, so i had to go back, but youre right same for me, im almost sick of going back to the same schools over and over, i go back because theres always signals to dig, thats not the prob, the prob is i barely find any old coins or relics which are my preferred finds, so i keep going back to dig the millions of mid tones i hear, in hopes for a gold ring or something here and there, i appreciate you tuning in and leaving me a comment, thanks !! HH-Ray
sounds like my exact situation lol, i get get random high tones when conditions are great but its mid tones now, and hopefully someday soon Ill get my first gold 😎
@@scottfreeman2576 what machine(s) do you have?? Seriously man, like you said ,ill come across a high tone randomly now and then but barely, they are nice size fields but it gets old ya know? Millions upon millions of low and mid tones to dig tho, of course most of its trash ,but now and then ill come across something interesting, or better thn trash i should say,, Its funny because a handful of videos back, i was at one of my school fields, and that day i showed up, i said im gonna dig as many mid tones as my back will let me, hopefully ill find a ring or whatever, and no lie like the 5th or so hole i dug was a girls gold ring, nothing big or anything but still a gold ring,, the reason i asked what machine you had is because i swing the Nox, and 12-13 are usually like a nickel signal, of course most the time its trash or whatever, but nickels ring up a 12-13 on the nox, thats my favorite gold numbers because i found a few gold rings ringing up. 12-13, you really just never know, finding gold os strictly luck as you already know im sure, getting lucky and digging the right mid tone, out of those millions of mid tones you hear in that field, you know they are out there to find, but so is millions of pieces of trash and what ever else BS lol, my prob at one of my schools is like i said, its overloaded with signals, so i know theres gotta be good stuff getting masked by trash, the soils like super not sandy but not like regular compacted dirt, so ive found some really deep stuff,, so there's no doubt in my mind like some coins are real deep and cool relics,, and that stuff is getting masked by shallow trash and stuff,, hope you get gold rings soon brother
i swing the Legend for now, i dont plan to upgrade till maybe this time next year, and unless Nokta comes out with something a little more high end, i am going to switch to XP or Minelab, so probly the successor to the deus 2 or manticore. thats funny cause one of the last times i went to my most frequented school, i was hitting a corner ive avoided due to lots of aluminum flashing and dig a mid tone (want to say 35) and popped another small sterling ring. ive been trying to use diff settings to see if i can get thos mid tones to pop a little better and its helped a little but we need rain, our ground is ridiculously dry. ill be on orange beach for a week in just over two weeks, so a change of scenery will be nice, hopefully i can pull a couple decent targets. good luck out there !
@@scottfreeman2576 hell yeah man awesome if you ever get the chance definitely swing a D2,, as you know it's a beast of a machine and can definitely separate all that BS amongst the good stuff,, the legend is a beast of a machine,, I have on myself but don't use it much,, i should use it more, but the little bit of time I have been getting out I just grab the Nox, but yeah man keep digging,, you never know like you said you can snipe out some good stuff and not expect like a little sterling ring to pop out,, appreciate the chat brother,,keep me posted when you hit them gold rings lol

the ring you found appears to have a piece of amethyst wired on it. Also, the big silver piece with the duck on it, is it a solid piece or might it open like a locket ?
Because that duck charm thing was crushed, it split it a little bit, its definitely hollow inside, but it dont come apart like a locket would, i definitely thought of that tho, would have been cool for sure, as far as the stone ring?? No idea, a few people said amethyst stone, but i dont know if its showing purple color tones in the vid? It looks black in person, and almost like a clear black, so??
