In this Video, Scotty "Buckets" & I head back to the 1722 House to hit the woods across the Street that we said we wanted to get back too,, After a hour of not finding anything really, we decided to hit some of the available fields we hit a little before, on the side of the house,, Enjoy the Quick video,nto see what we found!!

Nice finds buddy. Your bent knife is called a fish knife. My guess on your cut copper is that it is a Connecticut copper. I wish I could have a place with stuff that old on it to hunt. Your eagle button looks to be an 1820 U.S. Infantry militia button

Thanks for the info bud, im not sure on the cut copper, but i have a buddy whos pretty good with the buttons and if im not mistaken the buttons youre talking about have the shield in front of the bird, this one doesn't,, thats why were confused!! Neat finds Ray, I would have thought the woods would have had some nice find’s, but just a pistol ball won’t do, the 1722 permission keeps giving, the cut coin looks like Elizabeth the first possibly Victoria, great work man ATB 👍

Thanks brother, ill definitely look into the coin ,and look up the queen Elizabeth and Victoria coins, Funny because when we first started this permission, we looked over to the woods and thought for sure maybe it was a sledding hill because of the field at the bottom and we were told a old railroad track ran through up at the top of the hill, but we tried for a good while and literally couldn't find a thing aside from the pistol ball, and few pieces of random trash, we had high hopes for the woods but 200 years of nature taking over ,the top of the hill was loaded with downed trees and branches and what not, but some areas were open, not a sound out there for the most part,, bummer... I want to say I really like your videos documenting your hunts. Thank you. I watch a lot of channels and you're one of my top 5 favorites. I'm in Vermont and started detecting last year. I will be staying a channel myself and going to try to mimick your style of video and editing

Granted compared to other channels that are more professional with their editing and fancy videos, i just try to record doing what i love to do ya know? Doing everything from my phone has its advantages and disadvantages so sometimes i admit i can definitely improve in some areas, but honestly to hear comments like yours is pretty much the reason i make videos,, thanks again ,i really really appreciate that!! sweet saves man I'm guessing the cut coin is a 1700's draped bust colonial coin. which would make sense at a 1700' home. but thats just a guess. love your vidios

Thanks my friend I was super happy to find it ,, I have a buddy who is really good with buttons and it actually stumped him because apparently the eagle should have a shield on the front of it? and it doesn't,, so he says it's definitely pre-civil War 1812 ish, but i should get a expert opinion on it,, so hopefully its something rare or whatever,,, we shall see, , Thanks bud☘️

Yea man i do too thanks ,, kind of up in the air exactly what it is,, I have a buddy who is really good with the buttons and he said it's most definitely pre-civil War,, but is getting thrown off by the lack of shield on the eagle, so he said I should get an expert opinion on it because it could be a more rare one, which is cool!! Actually me and my friend were talking about that their does look to be some kind of counter stamp on it at one time of course there's no way to ID but yea i agree, definitely interesting,, wish I could have found the other half lol..☘️☘️

I appreciate you my friend thanks for watching,, we tried to search around the yard a little bit and didn't have much luck,, and most of the fields have perennials in them so we have random fields we can still get to so we will be back for sure!! Behind the house theres a massive field then a long line of trees but behind the trees is probably 10 football fields long worth of more fields haha, again most of them have perennials in them but we got to find out which ones are good to go!! So we should be back!! Thanks for the comment bud bud☘️Ray

I was texting back and forth with a buddy of mine who knows a lot about buttons and hes the one who told me its most definitely pre civil war, but hes stumped because hes never seen this particular eagle without the shield in front, so he said i may want to get a experts opinion which is awesome!! Haha i wish we had more time here actually bud, we stopped somewhere first that was a waste of time, then we went to the woods for a bit, that was also a waste of time, so we killed a lot of time that day, when we should have went straight to the 1722 house!! We couldnt find much of anything good in a quick sweep of the yard again, but theres some random fields around the house,, some of them have perennials in them and we can't hunt,, but some we can, so we were unsure what ones were good to hunt and which ones wernt,, You can tell pops we should be back for at least one more day dedicated to the fields again, i appreciate you guys for watching, it means a lot !!
