Not sure if you’re a Christian or not, but as a Christian we believe in something called theological triage where we rank certain doctrines as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier In regards of importance. Obviously we strive for unity in the essentials (1st tier doctrines), but in the non-essential doctrines (meaning you can have varying views and still be considered a Christian, like the topic of my video) we have liberty, and in all other things we aim to be charitable. I can’t think of any community (religious or not) where there is whole hearted agreement on every little thing. From Star Wars fans to political parties. Can you?
Whole hearted agreement? Christianity’s history is rife with disagreements, schisms, and factions. I know a Baptist who thinks Catholics are going to hell. I know a Catholic who will not read Luke’s gospel. And then there are wars and murders in Christ’s name… I was raised Christian but I’ve met more demons inside the church than outside it. Preach on!
@@August222 I would argue, divisive people are everywhere. People who argue just for arguments sake can be found in any organization, job, political party, and religion. You can’t escape them. I don’t think that warrants us to abandon said groups. If that were the case, then we’ll just be living in our basements away from everyone. So why not simply come to Jesus who helps us with our hypocrisy and rest in the grace he has for our sins by faith?

However, as God’s workmanship, we were created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 As faithful Protestants, we shouldn’t be scared to speak in this way. The reformers and puritans weren’t worried about it and often spoke using that language because the Bible speaks in this way.

So our response to this free gift of salvation by grace is (super)naturally faith and repentance, which is also free. I am a monotheist from predestination all the way to glorification. The ordo salutis is all given and managed by God. Therefore we are to walk in the good works in which God predestined us to walk in. This video and this series is to provide an overview of the gospel, not an in-depth scholarly work on how God is working in salvation. But maybe I will one day because it is important.

Thank you for the invitation to look into Islam. I have looked into it. I own a Q’uran (not in Arabic though) and have read it as well as dialogued with Muslims many times over the years. Ultimately I have theological and historical issues with Mohammed’s understanding of what Christianity is. Maybe I’ll do a video of it in the future. In a respectable manner of course, and you can tell me what you think! Also, I think you would agree (maybe not?) but Tate is not a good representative of Islam. I’ve heard many Muslim’s claim this. When he was a “Christian” I can tell you he wasn’t a good representative of Christianity. Ultimately, Tate has his presuppositions, and he will either create or find a system that lines up with himself. He’s not the type to submit to a framework outside of his own desires. That’s why, although he claims to be a Muslim, he’s clearly committing haram. Cursing (which he does in this video), sexual activities as an unmarried man with unmarried (or I’m sure at times married) women. All of those things he already wants to do and I believe will not submit to the teachings of Islam because Tate will do what Tate wants to do. Again, he is not a good representative of Islam.
What are you talking about? It is not "normal" to want to fight back and be strong against an enemy. That takes masculinity and removal of fear that is within us. Bowing down to someone and not fighting back is cowardice, not the "holy spirit". Standing up for yourself and defending yourself is not "evil".
I never said don’t stand up for yourself. But HOW you stand up for yourself looks different with the Holy Spirit. We keep speaking out against evil and call evil to repent. No matter how many times they hit you. Call out evil for what it is. And know that you are not fighting against flesh and blood, but the evil forces that animate humans to act out in evil ways. When you fight this way, you are going to the core of the real problem. And you are using the real weapons of warfare that actually do damage. It may come at the cost of your own life, but the blood of the martyrs are the seeds of the church.

Hes right though, Christianity has become a mockery. Stats show the numbers of Christians are dropping rapidly through conversion, breeding, secularism, atheism etc. Ive read that there are around 45,000 denominations of Christianality and 3000+ versions of the Bible. Which one is the right one? I see so many infighting with denominations its insane. Not a single Christian nation exists anymore due to their own weakness.

Re-read that section again. Says he fashioned a whip, but not that he hit anyone. He may have used it to get people to leave, but we have no record of Jesus ever striking anyone.
@LuxnoireCollection no record that you know of. Yes, that is correct. But the fact he needed one showed he not always turned one cheek. It only shows the interpretation of the verse. But the fact still remains the reason no one takes religion on its values as a hole is the fact they will happily go against their own religion for anyone's individual feeling of acceptance and not stick to its direct approach of God.
