Without outing as a fan of him or so but when he says that his screen freezes it could be due to nvidia drivers additional software for optimzing (forgot what the name was) It creates micro stutters during gun fights making it impossible to play. At least that was my experience
Thanks for uploading this. Was curious to see if his complaints about lag etc. were valid. 0:00 does show a desync with the gibby, and 2:20 and 6:24 do have a little freeze it looks like. 4:00 looks like a real no-reg. The other like 5 times he said "no-reg" sounded like misses to me. The guy is clearly good at the game, like holding your own vs Teq like this certainly correlates with solid masters+ play. I watched Teq's POV, chat+I didn't notice any no-regs. Also the soundboard isn't relevant imo since Teq suffered all of the soundboard sounds too. Also for any who don't know, it *is* possible to die around walls etc. It is fair though since if you are able to die around a corner, you're also able to peek a corner at the same amount of timing advantage, regardless of who has better ping etc. Devs did an AMAZING writeup of it on their blog, it's called symmetric lag compensation.
0:25 he misses which he called a "no reg", and the second time, he _did_ hit and no reg it, but that's because of ping. On the server he was already dead, so he's not allowed to do any damage. Crazy to see that kind of no reg on 20ms ping to be honest, but I play on JP at 260ms and that kind of "no reg" is super common.
To be fair his setup is actual ass and holding him back, but that's obviously not Teq's responsibility or fault. Weird behavior for 20 something people to dogpile him on discord like that too. At the end of the day just accept the L bc this type of excuse making just give people ammo
Nah, his FPS is only dropping when he looks in a certain direction. Him streaming on one PC should not tank his PC that much, especially in the firing range. Firing range and Apex always like that unless you have a 3080 in your streaming PC and a 3090 in your gaming PC; Apex was never meant to be played over 200 FPS, and his ping is 20-30 consistently. The second set his FPS was consistently 200 and his ping was worse. The only real difference that would be tangible is ping, and that's just something you gotta deal with in Apex.
Latency wasn't the main issue. Frapper needs to fix his setup. If your game dips to like 130-140 fps (not even on full res), don't play uncapped lol. And he's streaming on one PC on top of that then complains that his game is freezing/stuttering... Looking at his Twitch page it says he's running a 8700k + 2060Ti using a 144hz monitor. Why tf is he running the game uncapped with shit specs on a 144hz monitor? What tf does he expect? It's crazy to me how some of these Apex streamers don't even know how to run the game well after 4 years.
He had consistently 200 fps and 20-30 ping. There's pros that play in pro league with 100 ping and below 200 fps and still do great. His specs weren't the issue, he shit talked a player that was better than him and got reality checked.
@@eastsidechump92 >Why tf is he running the game uncapped with shit specs on a 144hz monitor? What tf does he expect? what point are you trying to make here? it looks like you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about tbh
