I got a lot of hate when I shaved my head and I still do. Truth is most people are shallow and most people don’t look good bald. It does help you create a not give shit mentality after a while.
I know how you feel man. I was in denial but when I legit had a natural monk haircut it had to go. Again I was scared about having weird shaped head but the wife is 10x happier with it shaved and no weird shape lol
Without denigrating the sacrifice of those who served but as the last veterans of WW1 passed away the status of past wars has reached the level of a fetish. Before the millennium the much revered ANZAC day was a long weekend pissup. Once the original ANZACs passed away its become reverence on steroids. Check out this song by do re mi. Those guys are commemorating ANZAC day in the 80's. A critical view of damaged veterans unthinkable today. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bDO5KwDBgy8.htmlsi=L0UXOl8yYW1Za8rA
Middle of winter. Mediterranean climate. Hot dry summers. Cold, wet winters. But you did thread your way past the sunny days which outnumber the grey. That's a bit of bad luck.
I actually think many men who make negative comments about a shaved head really are envious. Most men I know would love to try a shaved head but they're too timid. As I've said previously, I have no hair loss, but I love the look, feel, and convenience of a bald head. I just think it's a great look. 🙂 Plus, it's only your own business.
I use the Remington quick cut, which gives probably as close shave as you could get for an electric shaver. I have a review of the shaver here on my channel: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0mrP480kKx4.html
Yes that’s right, so two fingers above the adams apple. And the line starts just above from where the top of your two fingers are. Hope that makes sense?
I definitely think that some people can look better bald, never is a strong word. However I think we can all agree that bald and confident always beats hair and insecurity. But as someone else has mentioned, looks are subjective
I dont eanna roast u without helping you so i’ll explain why u look bad. (1) bald. Lol . (2) Bug eyes. Your eyelids and eyes pop past your facial bones. Very bad feature (3) Recessed midface. Your midface didn’t develop properly. Thats why you have all those fatty folds (4) Beard. gross. (5) Short midface. This one is hard to understand for many people. But what im saying is. The gap between your nose tip and misface is too large. It makes uour nose stick out like a bird’s beak. Overall I rate you as LTN. Low Tier normie
Lol I got a buzz cut and at first I got a couple of laughs, probably because I wasn't confident enough in myself in it, now I've embraced it fully and made it my own everyone around me has respect for it, really good video bro 👍
Firstly well done for having the courage to get your buzz cut, it’s not an easy move. Sorry to hear that you got some laughs to begin with. But sounds like you have great strength of character, congrats for rocking that buzz and owning it now :) I’m happy for you bro!
Yep definitely could be a reason, I was singling the kid out because kids are naturally curious and I think that’s great. It just provoked a thought in me about wider society
Yup I decided to shave my head bald again better get used to it 🤪. Next time though I'm keeping the beard not gonna shave it anymore I look like a child without it.
I actually cut it with a zero grade which is very similar to a 0.5 grade - so it cuts very close. The product comes with lots of different attachable grades from 0.5 all the way up to 12 I believe
Totally agree, it’s got the reputation as being boring but I thought there was plenty to do. And as you say the city feels more closely attached to nature compared to Sydney, and definitely compared to Melbourne.
Canberra is massively underrated. It is basically a big uni campus, but it has incredible facilities, nature, and the food is really good too. It's always interesting to see foreigners say - why does everyone hate this place? lol
Yeah the food was great! And it was so easy to get around. The people also seem to be more relaxed and not so much ‘in a rush’ when compared to Sydney and Melbourne.
Great video! I will definitely try trimming the beard in a straight line across the neck instead of following the curvature next time! Also, what trimmer do you use, and can you recommend it? Mine recently broke so I'm looking for a good one, esp. with high RPM so the lines are extra crisp.
Let me know how it goes! And yes I’m using the Remington Barba Beard Trimmer. I have a review of this beard trimmer on my channel if you would like to watch it, I will put the link below. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aOhHKIGAlug.html
Haha yes very true 😂 think all bald guys have been there. I’ve realised the importance of wearing a hat when I’m out in the sun for extended periods of time.
Hey mate. Grades means the different lengths you can adjust your clipper to, to get your desired length of hair. grade 0 being the shortest grade, grade 1 being slightly longer and grade 2 being longer than that etc. let me know if have have any more questions
@@mikebald1 got it. i use a reminginton smart trimmer so i can get it down to specific mm length. what would you recommend for the goatee and and the rest of the beard in mm?
Good question, I would say around 6-7mm on the goatee if you want it to look a bit longer. And then slightly shorter on the cheeks, around 5mm. But the best thing to do is experiment as it all depends on an individuals beard density etc. and of course, when experimenting, start at a longer length and work your way down to your desired length. Hope that helps bro :)
Thanks for your comment mate, means a lot. I’m glad my videos have helped you, the whole reason I started was to help out my fellow balding bros 💪🏽 and thanks, I’ve got a vlog coming out soon so stayed tuned :)
Yes I know that’s becoming a popular option and SMP artists are getting better and better at their craft. But for me personally, its another way of disguising balding and I don’t think I would personally feel internally confident with SMP. However, I have seen guys with SMP and think it looks great. If you want the option to keep the appearance of hair, then I believe it’s a better option that a hair transplant
@@mikebald1 yeh much better than a hair transplant , can sure avoid the meds… the maintenance factor , i guess it lasts for around 4 years and then fades and then u get a touch up done , any day better 👍
Yes definitely less invasive than a hair transplant and get no hormonal side effects like from meds. However, as you say, its a lot of maintenance to keep SMP looking good
Thank you, I really like it so far. It’s so quick and easy to use. My advice would be to use the little brush that comes with the shaver to clean off hairs after every use. And every few months, oil the shaver blades with the oil that comes in the box.
Yeah definitely, it seems to have gotten quicker over the last year or so. I’m still keeping it shaved, but I’m just shaving it with electric clippers at the moment rather than a shaver. I am considering growing it out for one last time but currently I just prefer how it looks shaved.
