Hmmm two things I noticed since doing it a year ago 1. You are absolutely right about hair transplants not being accepting hair loss. Anyone who is losing hair goes through this big sort of denial phase where they try to cover it up and to me a hair transplant is just an extension of that. Better from a philosophical and spiritual sense just to embrace the bald and focus on other areas of self improvement imo. 2. It does genuinely impact dating life but not in the way you might think... you are just attractive to different girls rather than none lol, which can lead you to feeling like you have to fit the stereotype of a bald man unfortunately. A lot of people will comment about being bald or simply not swipe right because it doesn't fall into their ideals. Overall less dating opportunities, but no impact on the girls who give you a chance (because they are genuine and not bothered by it, more focussed on personality.. as everyone should be imo) Overall a tough lesson in life that not everyone has to go through, but I'd rather lose an aspect of myself now and come to terms with it than later on in life when I put a load of value on my appearance. Sometimes you have to learn to let things go and make peace with it.
Sorry for my late reply mate. And yes I completely agree with you. In regard to your first point, everyone has to go through a denial phase in order to reach the acceptance stage. However, how long people spend in the denial phase is very much up to the individual. And yes in regard to dating life I think because a lot of people are fed negative stereotypes about bald guys, it definitely filters out some women who can’t see past baldness. Of course, everyone has a preference and they may just prefer hair but the myth that no woman would date a bald guy is definitely not true. Especially is the bald guy keep self improving. As you say it’s a tough life lesson but overall I think men become better people when they go through balding because they improve other aspects of their lives. Mike Bald
Well to be honest, my grandmother actually told me when I started shaving my head when I was 16 (It was hot in Texas and I walked to get haircuts) that I had a nice shaped head. She said some people look ridiculous so she noticed it. lol
Haha glad she liked your shaved head brother, probably really nice to have no hair in that Texas heat!Grandmothers keep it real and say what they think 😂 remember everyone has an opinion 😂
