It really wished there's a part 3 of 300, as The Persians utterly got defeated and decimated at the seas. But they still have the strongest forces on the land vs the Greeks so wanted to see that in film.
So much moaning about CGI before anyone has seen the film, or as if Fury Road wasn’t full of it as well. Haven’t seen one legitimate review complaining about it.
In the book at least, this guy was so good that Feyd actually has to resort to a hypnotic code word that forces the other fighter's muscles to all go slack in order to beat him. Feyd actually has so much respect for him afterwards that he demands that the fighter is given a proper burial (unlike the rest of the slaves, who are discarded). If I remember correctly, Feyd also kills the man who put the barb in the Atreides fighter.
The scene in the bar where Doc Holiday and Ringo basically show off with the gun and the cup is epic. Val Kilmer definitely should have won an Oscar. What a performance,each line delivered so well. All the actors were great.
