I'd highly recommend only replacing your daytime running lights and fog lights (if you have them) with LED, otherwise you will probably blind people at night. The fog lights are more wide spread rather than forward focused, so I highly prefer that to see animals.
You wouldn’t want to make the 9th gen si a project and buy some base civic like that to daily? While the 9th is down, getting work done, or simply being used as a weekend car?
Shop around with a locksmith got 3 keys cut and programed for $90 For my Acura, plus it was a house call can’t beat that. Smaller mom and pops shops usually have the best prices and customer service.
Advice: For people doing this, and is unable to take out the manifold, there is a bracket underneath the manifold with 3 screws, you would have to unbolt one of the bolts connected to the transmission/engine. (You can't see the bolts but you can feel it) Highly suggest having pliers or needle nose tool to remove the hoses connected to the manifold (one of the hoses with the small circle ring clamp, NOT the hose clamps is a PITA, recommend having some elbow grease for it) Also recommend using the needle nose pliers to remove plastic clips holding wiring harness and recommend removing the plastic clips connecting from the power battery terminal for more flexibility. Cause there are things that isn't shown in the video that most people just don't show. Removing the starter is easy, just 2 bolts and wire connections. I did not jack the car up and did everything from the top. Took me a solid 2 and a half hour to finish everything and put everything back together.
Bought a clean (paint too) 2007 Civic Coupe LX. Changed to L.E.D. lights right way. Have a Pioneer Flat Screen stereo with Cerwyn Vegas in the front and back. Drone security car alarm. I would change up the thumbnail if i was you. There’s way too much text which makes the eyes wander around. Nobody wants to read that much which makes a lot of people not click on the video, even though it’s actually solid. Keep your thumbnails more simple and find a way to make them stand out. Only put 1-2 words on them instead of a whole sentence. Otherwise the video is pretty good and I enjoyed it. Thought I would give you some feedback so you could improve your channel.
For the brake caliper thing, It's not as simple as just painting them. I took them completely off my Celica and Supra and wire brushed them until they looked like new then hit with X2 coats of VHT red and then clear. They flake off after two years. Primer is absolutely needed (yeah you mentioned it later lol, got me), but even then I'm not sure If that would last as long either. Thinking about just getting them powder coated. You gave a good tip, it's just more complex than I thought. Brakes/drilled and slotted rotors/QUALITY coilovers/wheels/tires/strut bars is the first thing I did with both my cars. As for Tire letters, I would 100% endorse tirestickers website. I have them on both my cars and they look amazing.
Hard disagree. Getting rubber tire stickers, yeah that's not something most people do, but I was proud enough of my Michelin PS4 tires to slap the brand on there. It really pops.
