@@grox3857 Thanks! I've got 2 more questions. Do you prefer acro or angle for tinywhoop racing? Could you pls make a video on how to set up and tune this drone in betaflight?
Pigtail is designed to take two 1s lipos as one 2s lipo->series connection. 2S have 2 times higher voltage so more power and less amps at same wattage->more efficient.
whats your googles aand setup on them? Im trying to get back to hobby with only tinywhoops and I am wondering which google should I buy to have decent video
Yesterday I almost lost my drone because the Jumper's batteries got loose, the controller lost power and dropped the RC link. It was just that metal tab you showed how to bend back. Lesson learned - before you fly, shake your controller to make sure it doesn't power off because of loose batteries.
Before you spend a penny, get a simulator. Fly in a sim until it becomes a second language for you. Then go rip a real kwad. In the long run, it'll save you tons of time, frustration, and money.
Hi. Find out today big problem. Hope you can help me solve it. Went to fly my Meteor65pro, but it didn't work. When plugged in battery the motors do the beep sound, but nothing else. ELRS receiver is not working, neither VTX. Betaflight or PC doesn't see the drone when pugged(can se other drones, cable/betaflight/drivers are fine). Not sure if it does anything to do with it, on my last fright it says heat alert 74*C, but I landed immediately. What could it be and what can I do to help it. Thanks.
Wow, you are so pro... its hard to see what is going on there, but you do fly it omg. Would like to ask you an hardware question: I burned out FC on Firefly1.6 1s toothpick. But the boards are sold out around 6months already(AIO 5A board w/ built in VTX). What could I change it with - suggest pls.
I'm not a pro but thanks! Firefly have normal 5A esc aio, you can even replace it with Betafpv Cross, but then need to set it up and it will fly with no problem.
@@grox3857 What do you mean by "normal" esc that firefly has? They used to sell same AIO board like my, but its out stock. By Cross Betafpv you mean to mix Betafpv board with the rest parts of my whoop? Flywoo AIO is w/ VTX onboard and separate Elrs, but BetaFpv AIO got Elrs built in and separate VTX. Will it still works if I get BetaFpv Vtx and AIO board w/ Elrs ?
@@Braincho "normal" that it have generic 5A esc"s used same on all whoops. You can go with BetafpvCross, and ovx300 this is best, most reliable, and lightest setup with separate vtx nowadays. Exactly what I'm flying right now
@@grox3857 I see, thanks a lot. Was wondering is this BetaFPV AIO board is reliable, cuz just had a problem with my Meteor65pro, but if you say its good - will get one. Also a question about VTX; does BetaFPV M03 VTX bad compared to ovx300, cuz if I purchase AIO board from them would be nice to get in the same order VTX too.
@grox I am new to fpv drones, I bought a TinyHawk 2, I dare not fly it, did you use simulation or went straight into flying, what is you're opinion, should I do simulation before flying in the open empty field ?
@@grox3857 What do you think if I buy a cheap brushed micro/mini/nano drove for like £20 and fly that in a open field rather then simulator perhaps this would work, what do you think ?
@@monkeytridentOf course. Even my first ever drone more like a toy. For 10$ (furibee f36) Had a great time with it, learned throttle control and LOS orientation.
So awesome, it is a rocket 🚀 i have a mobula 7 v2, it has GEPRC SPEEDX2 0802 16000kv motors, do you think these could be good for same satup you have? I have the estock fc too, by the way could you please share prop specs, like what pitch those are, i need 40mm prop but not sure what to buy so would like to test the same you used on this build
Props are gemfan 40mm they are very good on 2S High RPM with low pitch. Your motors are also pretty ok, so you can check if your FC supports 2S just change pigtail and send it!
@grox3857 excellent, thank you so much, for the moment I have been just using 2s, I will buy the gemfan 1610 biblades to test them, do you think will be ok?
Hi. I'm very new to drones and especially to tinywhoops. I have Meteor65pro. But it feels too responsive and too edgy mostly for altitude/throttle. Should I fix/reduce some parameters or its only lack of skills to fly it smooth? What would you suggest? Thank you in advance!
Of course! You can apply throttle and axis expo, it will smooth out the center, also lower your rates so exactly sensitivity will decrease. Later when you will gain more skill you can then raise rates and change expo to less. To maintain same altitude and not bounce is mostly skill factor and throttle control so also you can pratcice and just don't stop flying and you will get better over time :)
Hi can you pls help me choose the best cheap racing tini whoop, controller, fpv glasses and other things what you need to start with fpv? (I dont want slow drone)can you please help me???😢
That's why sometimes I feel like I enjoy trainings more than competitions, you can fly more, less pressure, less technical issues and midairs, it's just awesome!
Really cool bro! I'm not a pro, and I got a question I'm planning to buy hdzero google can Iink the googles with this camera? I'm still deciding about fatshark hd2. 1 or hdzero but sounds hd have more advantage? Thank you
Hi! Pro? I'm not one also :) But HDZERO goggles are amazing, if you have money they are middle sweetspot between digital and analog. Very good for analog (Tdog is using them) And also of course you can go HDZero digital :) Only downside that they are pretty big
@@grox3857 well you know how to build good drones, flying you're like a pro haha Well I'm thinking about these 2 googles, I already got a dji v2. I'm trying to decide between hd2.1 and hdzero, what you think? both are the same price I guess.
@@grox3857 ohh I see, which one you recommend? I can see many quad using analog system and it's cheaper than hdzero system right, at the same time penetration with hdzero sounds bit lower than fatshark? Or should I wait until end of the year and stay just with my v2?
@@_77LK HDZERO goggles are better than fatshark, because they can do both systems, digital at full 100FPS and Analog. If you have more money, go for the HDZERO goggles
Amazing!!! Best video and edit of this race I've seen. Me in your video?😮 How?! Thank you so much! I will never forget this experience. Hope to see you again. Whoop is the way!
If you are new with soldering, I recommend first to learn how to solder, and pratcice on small pads of other electronics, or broken fc's if you have some. This is important because you will reduce risk of doing bridges and burning vaulable stuff.
