Dorinda has zero self awareness. Shes clearly got issues, no self respecting mature woman would behave in such an aggressive manner. Her drinking is a symptom of deep emotional issues / conflict. I sense her being highly sensitive to comments that make her feel " less than" , she has deep seated feelings of inadequacy. These feelings underpin all of her violent and aggressive behaviour and desperate need to admired. Inadequate people often exhibit narcissistic behaviours, and typically one of these behaviours is intense anger , and uncontrollable meltdowns. She's simply incapable of managing her feelings as a regular adult would. Its a shame because she can be very kind, despite being utterly fecked up.
I love that Jon has a voice now when it was stiffled for so long. Kate is a classic narcissist. I pray his other kids get away from that someday and contact their dad again. But unfortunately narcissistic abuse runs deep and some of them may have even become narcissists themselves because of it. I would like to know more about Kate's own upbrining.
I used to love Jon and Kate Plus 8 and it makes me so sad how messed up things got and now the kids are estranged. Kids who shared a womb dont even talk to each other.
