Love Brandi... Can't tolerate her "co-host."

This was a frustrating convo to hear. Both of them consistently lose their train of thought and this guy keeps cutting her off and going off on a tangent. I think they need to really focus and make a list of topics to discuss prior to recording each episode. Literally it's tangent after tangent.

There is no chemistry here … Brandi, this was much better podcast when Ryan was your co host ! I listened to you throughout the pandemic , you were a great interviewer and allowed your guests the space to talk .. the co host idea is a really bad one for you .. why? Bring back Ryan , much better dynamic… feels like you and James are too competitive ! Not a good vibe … clearly you are both feeling the same given he’s been off air more than he’s been on since your collab/… # ring back Ryan

I remember that episode of VPR. Brandi, you were new and Lisa asked if you would give Sheena a few minutes so that she could explain that Eddie hid the fact that he was married. Then she ended it.

Arianna said she had his phone while he was on stage performing, she was suspicious something was off and went through his phone and saw the recording. If she sent it that’s terrible but I would maybe forward it to my phone for proof being so mad in the moment

I will say that I agree that Andy should resign. In any other circumstances he would be on leave while the company investigated both sides. The mistake is that both sides the housewives and Andy blurred the l in bed of distinction between employee and boss. People become overly familiar and way too casual and it will bite you back. Both sides are wrong.

Ariana sent it to herself, from Tom’s phone which is distribution, idk about California laws but sending that to her phone puts him as a distributor even though she sent it to her own phone which is a serious crime.

Arianna had toms phone. Was suspicious, looked in the camera roll & saw the video Tom secretly recorded. Ariana then sent the video to herself. She claims she didn't show anyone but im sure thats not true..

First time listener and hope this dude is not a regular. He’s ugggggh. Brandi you can have known guests on and chat or just talk to your audience and ask for feedback on the topics. This is brutal to sit through with this annoyance

On a podcast, the host mentioned that she thinks Caroline is suing Bravo to get the show taken down because she thinks Caroline may have been asked about the whole situation where her husbands brother (and also sisters ex husband) was accused of brutally beating up Caroline’s sister and new husband. And Caroline wrote a letter defending the husbands brother and didn’t stick up for her sister. She thinks someone on girls trip asked Caroline about the situation and Caroline said too much info or something incriminating so now she’s doing anything she can to get the show taken down to protect herself and her family. I think that’s an interesting thought and totally think that’s what it is 👀 Anyways Brandi you deserve better and I love you ❤

Based on what you said about Andy & the substances he uses/offers guests - Kathy griffin has spoken and written about that same experience with him, as well as toxic work practices & environments. I know she wrote about the coke in her second book (Celeb Run-Ins), as well as promoting & using his executive powers at the network to influence his own tv shows over hers and others, as well as giving himself and screen time and gigs (Anderson Cooper new years eve?) Despite her success and Emmy awards and higher ratings.

Lol, idk. I enjoyed this podcast. I have a short attention span so It was fun hearing you guys jump from one topic to another rather than hearing a whole 30 mins about solely one topic.

I have come to empathize with Brandi, which doesn't mean that I stand by all of her behaviour over the years, but just that if taken altogether, it makes sense given what we know about her. She tends to lash out defensively in that hurt-people hurt people way, which has been exploited in the reality TV world. The worst of her behaviour aired is probably how she treated Joyce, but part of me wonders if she felt threatened, like how Tamra felt threatened by Gretchen. Not to make excuses, but how she acted toward Joyce seems similar to Tamra saying she wanted to get Gretchen 'naked-wasted' in an effort to tear her down. Also, it didn't seem like the group of women were keen to speak up and check her behaviour, nor did production, which makes it seem like a tacit endorsement. As much as I dont think drugs/alcohol is an excuse to justify touching anyone without consent, it does seem like production encourages substance abuse to exploit the resulting messy behaviour where the women on these franchises are acutely aware that they are fighting for relevance. If Brandi can learn from this, then she might be able to advocate for reform because employees have the right to feel safe in their workplace no matter the profession. I think it's possible to see how Caroline and Brandi both have legitimate reasons to challenge Bravo's part in what happened. They were hired based on their previous performances on the franchise, and there are numerous examples of aired past behaviour that demonstrates how Brandi could believe her current behaviour would be justified.

It really pisses me off that LVP pushed you to speak with Sheana. She has so much money, and that was sick to put you through that emotional roller coaster. You're too nice. Also, I have a very difficult time believing that Caroline Manzo, as tough as she portrays herself, wouldn't advocate for herself at any point during filming. It's either PR or money grab.
