It says “error subscribing to channel” and it will not let me give a thumbs up it says resources exhausted … I have no idea what that is or means… 🤷🏽♂️
I replaced the factory plunger with a Kidd plunger and thier stiffer spring…and zero difference in maintaining a more secure hold on the 15 round Ruger magazine. It still wobbles visibly and audibly so there’s likely to be a feed issue. At least in my RPRR, this was NOT a fix. On the positive side, the 10 round box magazines are somewhat more secure going into the well and holding. Is this woth the $26.50 to Kidd and 30 mins. of time? Not in my opinion.
can you add a link or tell me where you picked up the front accessory hand guard. I need that like yesterday. Ordered my X95 trigger last night. Thanks great information.
I saw the question about you using the ASR flash hider. Are you able to seat it at the shoulder of the barrel or is it seating on the muzzle of the barrel? Did you torque it to 20-30 ftlb with Rocksett or just good n tight? Did you remove the barrel from the rifle to put the barrel in barrel vise jaws?
Great video, I wonder how the plasti dip, being harder, wears against the valuable objects in the case? I ask as Im doing a takedow recurve pelican case and many of the components are wood.
That is a good question... Everything I have in my case is metal (no wood) and considerably harder than the plastidip, therefore there are no wear issues. The plastidip does not harden 100% but I am still not sure I would chance it with wood.
Put your left hand under the stock instead of trying to stabilize the pistol grip and using your fingers to adjust for stability/elevation. Try not lifting your head after every shot, your cheek placement will shift every time you do 👍
Replaced those plunger springs on 10/22s before with quality tandemkross springs and it made absolutely no difference. All its good for is to say it has an aftermarket spring I guess.
Yeah I just purchased and received my Timney trigger and the installation requires you to use and install the cocking guide, spring, and the plunger from the Ruger trigger.
The Timney trigger in 2021 is different- you have to transfer some hardware (spring and other parts in the “J” channel) from the original trigger to the Tunney trigger before installation.
The little parts at the end were the individual pieces that I cut out for each item (I was shaving down the thickness of each)... For example, the pistol cutout, the magazine cutouts, etc. Since I wanted everything in the case to be sitting at about the same height, I re-used those pieces that I cut out to place underneath each item to essentially "lift up" the items so they all sit at the same level. Otherwise, the magazines (for instance) would be sitting very low in the foam and would be difficult to pull out. I hope that makes sense.
Gotcha. That makes sense. I just took out the foam to cram as much as possible into the case for 3 gun comp. I was only driving, but I’m about fly and best to keep everything from jostling around. Thanks for the video.
2nd optic is still working perfectly. Note that I did have the original one replaced within the first year, as it was turning off and on with trigger pulls.
@@TheHardWay907 Glad to hear the second unit is still working. Do you know if they ever made the Tavor SAR IDF version that would replace the original Mepro M21?
I have since installed a nice Vortex Crossfire 4-12x50 that you can find here: amzn.to/31aUL7E Otherwise, here is the link to the scope from the video, which is a very cheap BARSKA 6.5-20x50: amzn.to/2Gvrjke
