After seeing bits and parts of wingman i have a feeling its like a return of metal heroes which is what i would put wingman under as a metal hero like b fighter ,space shierff gavan etc
WHAT KIND OF TOKU GENRE IS WINGMAN?? .... I HOPE AFTER THE 10TH REIWA KAMEN RIDER...TOEI HIATUS THE KAMEN RIDER SEASON...AND FOCUS TO RELEASE NEW TOKU GENRE SERIES LIKE WINGMAN OR REBOOT OF METAL HERO GENRE
Honestly, speaking it is, the worst thing Hasbro could have possibly done. At this point, they have really dropped the ball and I'm not support, anything they do with PR in the future. As far as I'm concerned, the franchise is dead In Hasbro's hands.
I think there should be a power ranger museum the same way Japan has one for Sentai. It would make more money than all of the auction items combined. Hasbro has no creativity or intelligence to do such a thing. People would come from all over to see props from their favorite series along with the possibility of meeting an actor. I went to the Sentai exhibition in Yokohama just before corona hit. It was so cool to see those props and see many of the red ranger suits. Also got to buy some Sentai things that aren’t found anywhere else. A PR museum could do the same thing.
The ironic aspect to all of this; is that Hasbro offloading all of that history actively devalues the franchise as a whole when they want to seek a new buyer. The IP alone is valuable; but it was far more valuable with a back catalog of props to pull from.
I feel nobody who owns the Power Rangers franchise actually cares about it, which is sad. Some great seasons were created under Disney, Saban, and Hasbro. These days, it seems to be mostly about money. Hasbro has been promoting the original MMPR Power Rangers endlessly while giving its final season, Cosmic Fury, next to nothing. Probably because they know they can make easy money off people's nostalgia. The passion for making the show and coming up with new ideas for it should be what takes precedence, not profits.
I wish someone could open a Power Rangers museum and theme park where the suits and props could go. The theme park could have rebuilt sets from many different seasons
Hasbro care more less about the franchise than who completely moved on from the franchise i mean yes for me power rangers was gone after RPM but that doesn't mean they would end it like that i was a big fan of pre neo saban era seasons although Hasbro don't even give a shit about any series except MMPR which was an okay series besides 90s kid fans nostalgia which doesn't works on non 90s people like us
Hasbro has done Dungeons and Dragons IP dirt, and now they did it to Power Rangers? Either we get a new Power Rangers with politics and ideology inserted or let it die...
@@ripleyjlawman.3162 I don't mind gay or flamboyant character actually. There's a lot of gay or flamboyant characters that's well written in media. What I don't like is when their inclusion serve no other purpose than indoctrination of one's political view or ideology.
Something to note is that this is not likely the "End" of Power Rangers. Power Rangers has reached an 'Ending' two times already - Power Rangers in Space was a desperate move and assumed to be the last at the time before it turned out to be successful and Disney showed no interest in continuing the show past RPM and made the disrespectful series that is MMPR Remastered. It'll be back
@@minicle426more likely, Hasbro will sell it to Another Bidder who has No Knowledge of Power Rangers, & Ripoffs Whatever Star Wars or the MCU Team are doing.
Hasbro never cared about the series to begin with, aparently their former CEO was a fan and bought the franchise agaist the wishes of every other higher-up in the company, even having plans for it...but unfortunatly he passed away not too long after the purchase and left it in the hands of people who had no love or respect for it, its not all too suprising they're selling the props to "recover their loses", because at the end of the day they dont care about the legacy, they only cared about the money it would brings them.
all i know is from the listing i got in my e-mail, it was the 6 MMPR suits from once and always, They were the American made suits, The blue suit is a little more rough due to being used in cosmic fury. No weapons, No holsters (despite being pictured) and the red ranger helmet has damage. The Alpha suit and rita robot suit were for sale as well.
It’s sad the actors have to bid for their own costume against fans. Some of them saying that they regret not stealing it back then when their season ended. Both actors and fans have so much love for the franchise, and Hasbro just sees it as a cash cow they’ll throw away when they see no use for it.
There are cultural differences between Japan and the U.S., so I don't know if it's standard in the U.S. or not. However, personally, it wasn't pleasant to see from Japanese Sentai & PR fans' perspective.
It's not uncommon to sell off props and costumes in auctions, but most people in many cases would like to see them become museum items on display as they have had such a cultural impact.
While I understand the logic of the auction, it mostly leaves a bad taste on timing and how the franchise has been treated. In US, Power Rangers is not as respected as much as Super Sentai in Japan from what I heard. To the point where it feels like a dishonor to even getting a role and some actors distance themselves from the franchise. Not helping that they are not paid well. If there are returning actors, its a miracle and nice to see them again whereas in Sentai and Kamen Rider, crossovers and returning actors are plenty in comparison. Whenever I show Power Rangers or Sentai at all, non fans think that its silly or be surprised when the show has good qualities. Especially Sentai where it is more violent than Power Rangers. Though the posing, roll calls, and comedy does not help make people take it seriously for the US. From the stuff I heard about Cosmic Fury, I wonder what were the business people thinking? Like the mindset shows the flaw of what Hasbro would do to the franchise with the writers being the only people saving it. With the toys being not as good as the Sentai or silly choices like changing the swordfish to shark. (That last one anger a friend a lot that its funny) My compromise is that the props should be given to the actors who want it. Sell whatever that is leftover at least. Its not perfect but at least its less bad hopefully. Really, the controversy it just on how the franchise is being viewed and treated in my opinion.
Selling screen used props through auction websites is pretty popular among Western studios because obviously storing props is expensive. I don't see what's wrong with letting fans buy cool screen used stuff from their favorite shows. Unless I'm misunderstanding some sort of context that I don't have
Well pretty much theyre completely dismantling the franchise they're selling it cuz they have no further use for it and are trying to get any money they can from the IP they killed
@@HardlyWorkin-kh5uh They aren't selling it the brand. You really think Hasbro is gonna let their competition get a hold of it? They're just licensing out the toy brand to playmates so they deal with making toys because they suck at it. Whereas playmates is much better at it. So they'll still get a cut.
Americans love NTR when the MC who is portrayed as weak steals the girl from the more "popular" character (wataru to king) so i agree kiva is probably one of the better ones but only if they tone down early wataru passiveness
In the future I would like to see a fully aquatic themed ranger team. We have fish and other sea creatures in animal theme teams before, but I'd like one that's all aquatic creatures. I'd also like a team based on the 4 symbols. So we'd have a 4 man team like we had with Abaranger. And the yellow center dragon can be the extra ranger.
Dude! Alots of people care about the reiwa era sentai! They just had more cameo in the serie now, plus they have other special outside the serie itself! Either it is a mini special, anniversary movies or crossover😂
