That was also in an Ultraman Z skit when Haruki thought he found 3 Man-niisan medals; only for Z to correct him. (If you want to make it more challenging, add Ribut into the mix) Also at first, I was not able to tell the difference between Tiga and Dyna.

In the New Generation era, Ultraman designs are increasingly diverse and tend to be out of the box. - Geed: blue Venom-like eyes and robot-like Solid Burning form - Z: diamond-like eye structure, blue body (Heisei vibe) with Roman crest (Showa vibe) - Decker: Nice-like color timer position with galaxy-based chest plate - Arc: dark yellow eyes like Justice, black neck (New Generation vibe) with futuristic head design

My opinion is that as long as new audiences don't use "All Ultras are the same" as an excuse for not watching the show, I am good with it. Having that opinion is not a bad thing at all and I felt it's a good opportunity to introduce new people to Ultraman and let them see the difference. It's important to make people feel more encouraged to watch the franchise especially for those who have that opinion. Plus Taka Blue is the best

Actually, Ultraman Jack suppose to be a new power-up form for Man-niisan in The Return of Ultraman but they rejected it. That's why both of them are having same look XD.

Shōwa Ultras for sure (the original, Zoffy and Jack) but not Heisei and Reiwa ones.

I somewhat want to suggest to show like a picture of the Ultras you mentioned in the vid so people can understand more of the examples you were talking about, but that sure adds a lot more work so this is fine already as basic

I have a question. Do you ever think after a while kamen rider might make sequel seasons of previous kamen rider but with a new protagonists and riders and maybe cameos of old riders from those seasons? Like if there was a season of kamen rider blades son or something like that. Which season would you like to see get a sequel season with updated designed riders

It's simple to explain. The term kamen rider is referring to suits/armors while Ultraman is a race of alien. Meaning they're all have to have similiarity, just like how humans are Wouldn't it be weird if a drama series that should be consist of human character got replaced by a giraffe instead?

I like how it's summarized in the video; If a person watches an Ultra series, and likes it enough to watch another, it's unlikely they'll casually mistake the first Ultra they followed for the second. If they like the second enough to watch a third, they're not going to mistake that Ultra for the other 2. It's a non-issue, no one expects you to consume the whole franchise all at once anyway. The only franchise that genuinely has this problem is probably Gundam, and even then, within an overarching continuity like the Universal Century, that's kind of the point; it's a line of technology building on each other, occasionally branching out to explore different ideas, and if it proves fruitful, it'll naturally feed into the core line.

I feel like unlike sentai which is just lighthearted fun whatever, and then kamen rider which question morals a lil more, ultraman is super hero just super hero like superman its clear cut good and evil i cant really explain it but ive never had that problem personslly anyways and dont watch much ultraman even
