Farm Life: Tending to 1000 Dairy Cows in the Bountiful Fields of the UK
Welcome to the world of dairy farming, where I oversee a thriving operation of 1000 cows across the picturesque landscapes of the United Kingdom. From dawn till dusk, I embark on a daily adventure to ensure the health and welfare of these magnificent, milk-producing creatures.
With passion and devotion, I meticulously manage the milking process, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cow comfort. From the gentle hum of the milking machines to the sweet scent of fresh hay, the farm comes alive as we gather pure, wholesome milk straight from the source.
Join me as I navigate the challenges and triumphs of dairy farming, showcasing the vital role of agriculture and the remarkable bond we form with these gentle giants. Together, let's celebrate the beauty and resilience of British farming and salute the hardworking farmers that nourish our communities.
Hi Richard. I said to Charlie you said you were on Plane next week. He said yes he could well be. Emma said it needs a few inches of the bottom of the Bathroom door . For Christ sake concentrate. Don't make a mess of it. . 😂😅
Lookin good. You cant beat crossbred cows. Less problems than them higher yielders in house cows. Less Vet on farm easyer calving . Nice to see you pushing on . Hope you are making sure Emma gets a nice Holiday at some point. Charlie said she your best worker. Very versatile O and you got nice cows . Keep smiling 😃
I do like your content, but may I suggest one small change? Your videos tend to end very abruptly, sometimes almost mid sentence! I never know whether you are coming back after the advert. A brief sign off wouldn’t be a bad idea.
Rich the tractor are on the wrong side of the chopper. 😂 over here in Canada we silage on the right side. Great video though good to see how you’re getting on.
Good to have you back! To get more subscribers you need to make # hash tags about what you have and doing. Hash tags help people find you when they do a search. Example # Valta tractors # milking cows # using automatic feeders # silage # hay # grass, etc... using hash tags will get more people when they do a search and will help you with more subscribers.
Need a shear Grap . Cutting out making a mess it will heat the feed left on floor . Need a face on clamp like a brick wall. Left to right across the face . Sheet no more than 4 M pulled back. Or get wet if it rains. Of course You do have Charlie 😂 bless
Great video with lots of good insights into calf health. Grew up on a dairy farm (no longer involved) but picked up a lot more tips in 10 minutes there than in many yers back in the day!
You got no small amount of HAY in racks for calves to get the guts working or calf cake. Small amounts. Sperad llike wild flower thats a new one. Wild 🔥. Better belt and Bracer Bag calves not later than 6 hours after being born .
Need to upload more videos. I have to agree on the new calf house design. We vaccinate all the calves for the first time this winter and never had as many issues with pneumonia. Even the calves in the single hutches outside are getting pneumonia. Regulating the shed temperature and air flow in a closed shed is the way forward.
