Lara's microphone sound was at maximum (it resonated..) and Johnny's was lower.. It was Johnny who asked for it to be done like that. Lara was his guest at the Stade de France and he wanted her to demonstrate her vocal power and shine. Lara herself confirmed it. Johnny in all his generosity... Know that Johnny was a vocal power too but on this last interpretation he did not want because it was done on purpose, Johnny was very intelligent in doing that to make the song more dramatic and show their acting on this magnificent song that belongs to him. The desired goal was the dramatic side of the singing all in power but less than Lara (Johnny) with at the same time next to him a more striking singing power (Lara) and the passionate play between the two. Everything was imagined by Johnny himself to end the last interpretation in style. A masterpiece, perhaps the most beautiful duet in the world.💫💥🎉
He has an amazing team with him personally chosen by him he inputs his ideas in they know exactly what he wants but if he doesnt agree he will change it. He is in control
He would never do that but he wants to be a young man and have fun with some of his music. In doing so he can spread his cultural music his ethos about peace in our time which is really important to him across the world
Listen to him sing Mari. He could sing anything perfectly. I hope by this date you have understood Dimitri Hvorostovsky better than in this video. It sounds a bit critical.

That are songs of very late 1990s up to date, there are a lot of them in this period because Ukraine gained independence from USSR. There are a lot songs of 1990s, but that were just the first free steps. There are not so many songs of Soviet period because Ukrainian songs were dissident. But there are even songs from Medieval, and New times of Renaissance. We got even own Yankee Doodle like song, like it was originally British song that became popular in USA after gaining independence. We brought to US culture a "Carroll of the Bells" song, that was one of Christmas Ukrainian songs for kids (like Halloween but during Christmas Holidays it calls Schedryk - song kids sing to get sweets and treats), by Ukrainian immigrant in 1920's. I like to hear reaction to song called Ukraine by Taras Petrenenko it was dissident even right before collapsing Soviet Union in 1989-91, it is a very ballade pop song of 1980s, it even got a rock version in 2010. This song for Ukrainians like Pokarekare Ana for New Zealanders, like the second song after National Anthem
That's the song of love to Motherland with love lyrics, mot as now more wartime ballades. We even got a cover of Ballades of a Green Berets but it more a German like cover even has a similar name: 100 Men 1 Order
Jeff, 5:36 and 5:46 shows and proves how powerful music can be. Amazing singer like Lara can draw you in, event if you don't understand lyrics. I thank to God that i discovered Lara few years ago. I know, a bit late, but better than never.
Ce qui est emousant c’est que Serge Lama est l’auteur de Je suis malade que Lara Fabian a repris et popularisé dans le monde, et qu’ici il reprend en echange l’une des plus grandes chansons de la chanteuse en changeant les paroles pour qu’elle entende ce qu’elle aurait peut-être voulu entendre à la place de ce qu’il y a dans le texte original. Dans sa version de Je t aime Serge Lama glisse des allusions à Je suis malade pour que le croisement entre les deux chansons et les deux artistes soit encore plus parfait, et l’expression d une affection réciproque.

Autumn Strong is the same song tho words have slightly different meanings. However this song is sung in Japanese Autumn Strong is sung in Mandarin Chinese. This song has a Japanese & Chinese history.
very brave when someone shows up in a duet with Lara Fabian....but the thing is...Lara Fabian is on a level that almost no one can reach...so you should think carefully about doing it.
Jeff...just happened to come across your critique on Anita. She does have one of those vocal presentation that sort of hits you like a velvet hammer. You..like so many of us envied and admired her instrument...just strong and clear from such a small frame. What comes to mind is another Melba Moore...just Stellar!
