I followed the very clear instructions here - even got a new gasket following the links provided - and the result is a revived vacuum that is as good as new. So I certainlt recommend this!
I was going to take my DC37 apart to deep clean but then I thought that maybe I should look at an instructional video first before attempting it. I'm glad I found your video. Great video. Thanks!
Can you please show the size and brand of the tote, the make of the cat sifting tray (Arm and Hammer??) and the dimensions of the hole that you cut in the top of the tote.
I rescued a stray Norwegian forest cat I believe, that developed diabetes. He eats the Purina pro plan veterinary DM (canned.) The paté version. He doesn't need insulin anymore. He was so bad, he was having seizures and couldn't even walk. The vet gave him an antibiotic injection because he had some blood in his urine (microscopic) and he never had another seizure. He has been playing and healthy for almost a year now. Anyone with a diabetic cat, do not give up on them. The vet thought he should be put to sleep soon. It was really bad, but I knew all we had to do was figure out what was needing to be regulated and he could be better. It's not like cancer that gets worse. It just needed figuring out. ❤ Best wishes for your cat.
Hmm so you didn't show us the gun not firing, didnt show you cleaning it, which i doubt happened as that gun doesn't even look used & looks like its just come oit of the box & to top it off didnt show the gun working either.
great video... just wonder why Dyson makes it too complicate. The old day I have vacumn just change the bag and throw the bag away, it lasts more than 30 years , still working, no need to have deep clean up as the Dyson..
Pretty silly design. Needed more levels of filtration. It's like they only considered performance for 5 minutes, plus styling, with no consideration for longevity and maintenance. I detest even dumping the stupid dustbin flap and washing the dumb filter... There's no way I'm ever opening this knucklebuster all the way like this. I'm going with bags and disposable filters forevermore. Kudos to you and your patience. Share some with the rest of us mere mortals.😅
ALL Paslodes quit working in short order, service frequency WAY to quick .Experienced with both framing and finishing I just purchased another new finishing nailer and sure enough, after about 500 nails later, no fire, not dealing with them anymore for the $$$ big mistake ..headache
I'm just going to empty mine into another sealed container to use for COMPOSTING mulch.. and lightly spray the box with a mix of vinegar and water-- let it dry and wash it again with plain water.. and that kills all germs SAFELY and naturally.
I LIKE that--- GREAT idea... I'm doing that TODAY.... THANKS... I have 3 and the little shits DEMAND that I change their present box BEFORE - AND AFTER every single use-- which keeps me in there breathing litter dust all day.!! ha. AND- I can COMPOST the sawdust for my roses which will help there for later!!!! YOU ARE using the KILN DRIED pellets-- right? So the pine or other oils don't get TOXIC to your cats?? PINE is very toxic to cats-- but if it's KILN DRIED- it's SAFE--- and the 40 pound bag here is $6.... and good for about 2 months for my 3 cats.. better than the previous $15 for a jug of the clay CRAP that I was breathing the dust from (and cats too) every day- and I have breathing issues anyway!!.
I just switched to pellets and sifter - but I like your idea of the plastic tote -- that is better than my idea of putting it in an XXL litter box - One of my 2 cats have become rather "fluffy" (fat) in her old age and this will be more stable. Thanks for the idea. Sharing with a friend if you don't mind.
Seems like a great idea but I’m wondering when the cat pooh and uses the paws to cover the pooh with the pellets, if it will stop the odour or prevent pooh on cat paws
I would like to know how you transitioned your cat over to using 100% wood pellets. I just recently found out about this cost-effective litter idea, but my cats won't go into the box with only pellets, so I have another box (non-sifting) that I mix pellets with clumping litter to get them used to it gradually, and adding more pellets every day until it's all pellets. I'm not using a sifting pan yet because the clay litter will fall through along with the sawdust. How did you do it? I would love to hear it. Thanks!
I was actually pretty lucky! the transition was very fast, I just switched it and place it in the same spot his litter is normally at, then just picked him up and placed him in his litter box for him to know that this new box is okay for him, and he picked it up right away. Also note that my cat was in the process of getting diagnosed as diabetic so he was visiting his box often, so I also think he noticed he wasn't getting as dirty as he did before when using the traditional litter
@@diyhandyandy9999 As of today, they are about 90% transitioned now. I bought a Vaness sifting box, but unfortunately the sifting pan holes are too big and the pellets fall right through. But there are 2 other pans. So I will drill holes in one of them and use that to sift. I will copy your idea for the other litter box I have, but I will also have to drill holes in the bottom of that one. Thanks for replying. I hope your kitty is coping alright.
