I used to take Nature Throyd, AND IT IS THE BEST!! BUT....now the pharmaceutical company has bumped up Nature Throyd up to over close to $100.00 for 60 pills. We live on a Seniors income & Medicare will NOT cover NATURE Throyd so I am FORCED to take Levithyroxine, which is EXTREMELY unfair to Senior's. I have done nothing but gain weight on Levithyroxine. It also causes higher cholesterol too which is CRAAAAZY & can increase osteoarthritis. I was reading the side effects of Levithyroxine. I talked to my D.O. Dr. About this. She was willing to prescribe me ARMOR Thyroid, but again, VERY EXPENSIVE, too, now to take, and Medicare will NOT cover Armor Thyroid either. Both Nature Throyd and Armor are natural medications, but Medicare will NOT cover them, so Senior's "ARE FORCED" to take Levithyroxine. IT REALLY SUCKS!!
In a yr ive been worse taking levo, to which i was had maybe two symptoms for needing it... I felt way more tiered and gained weight which now i cant loose! Im menopausal but never had a reaction of crying mood swings but i hated it.
I was wondering if you could give me some more insight, I have both issues but it doesn't end there and I don't know which is causing which. Ive done everything you mentioned and still no results.
What are your thoughts on massage? I was thinking of gently massaging my thyroid to see if it helps.It worked on my bad knee so I guess there's no harm in trying right.
At 5.08, .. I was very close to full coma, its how I got diagnosed when I was taken to hospital in bad way. This is an awful condition to fight, even when doing my best n aware of many things now, thanks to a good endocrinologist. Youre spot on regarding radiation and other rusk factors.
@15.55 Supplements* Zinc, seleniem, probiotics, vitD3, VitB12&folate, ( I get mine injected monthly!) Folate , Essential fatty acids. Olive oil is my own preference. with eggs,and lots of fish. (3g per day essential fatty acids also help heal gut) For me...Mediterranean diet+ clean lifestyle.
Do you have any recipes you lie for gluten free bread? My biggest obstacle in my family is that I have 2 boys and my husband who will not give up their bread in the morning at breakfast. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I have been diagnosed with hashimoto,but because of jonts pain. My dr ran lab blood work for ANA Antibody test. Which came back positive but the range was low. Can Hashimoto causes Lupus?
I've been on synthroid and cytomel for 18 years. Recently my TSH was a little low and my dr took me off of cytomel. I wasn't feeling great at the time, but now I feel awful and have that "fibro" feeling. Still waiting to return to dr and have levels checked.

My doctor put me on it three months ago and it sure made me feel worse! My hair started falling out and I've gained twenty pounds no matter what I eat! I told my doctor I wasn't going to take it any more but I started taking half a dose. I only do that because I had have my thyroid removed forty years ago! I've felt worse since I went back on it even tho its only half a dose!!
This pill is awful. I took it 15 years and mainly felt tired as time went i started having zapping sensations in my body, exhaustion, cant sleep, and high bp the docs never could being down my bp over the years. I quit this pill last month and feel better, sleep better weird senastions gone. I havnt figured out yet if it raised my bp since i no longer take it at home but its a side effect of the levo even though ive asked the docs over the years if its responsible for my bp.
The problem is, when you tell regular doctors about LDN AND SPECIFICALLY that LDN is very inexpensive at only about $1 per nightly dose -- they lose interest in LDN REAL Quick. Sorry to say but that is my experience anyway. I have been on LDN for 12 years, and things have not gotten any better, in my opinion. Most regular MDs just will not prescribe LDN. Such a shame because LDN, with continual use, normalizes your body's Endorphin production (not exercise Endorphins, but the production of Endorphins supporting the Immune System that is produced through the Pituitary Gland nightly between 1 - 5 AM). Anyway, there are more LDN Doctors springing up around the Country. But some (like in NYC) can be very expensive. So pick your LDN Doctor carefully.

Does the US have no specialist? Like, in Europe they do blood tests first. Checking your T3/T4 levels. If they are low, they'll send you to a specialist to do a ultra-sound scan of your thyroid gland to check its size, rate of bloodflow ... Also in europe there are not added colours to your medication. This sounds so weird to me.
I was diagnosed with hashimotos when I was 11. Have failed my hearing test just in my left ear all my life. When I was 21 I had a bad vertigo episode that lasted about an hour. Now I’m 26 and Since then I get a vertigo episode about once a year. The episodes of vertigo or spinning only last about 10-20 seconds. Before the attacks I usually feel lightheaded. I’ve had doctors tell me I have aied and a different doctor tell me I have menires disease.

I believe that one of the excipients that is in the generic thyroid hormone replacement, manufactured in China, is carcinogenic TALC of ALL THINGS! Please check that out!

I am a 76 year old female. Been on lowest dose of Levothyroxine --since 2008-16 years. I recently learned that Levo can cause bone loss, anxiety and insomnia! All of which I have! One Doctor on RU-vid says Levi contains lactose and I am lactose intolerant. My primary doctor has never told me about any of these side effects and she knows I have bone loss and anxiety and insomnia! I am active-walk an hour a day and I am not overweight and eat healthy. I do not eat dairy- I am a vegan. I read Armour is made from pig’s glands so I don’t want that!
Alot of er doctors dont have the time to check nor do they care,some of those test in which can cause a psrson death!Doctors also dont listen to the patient because i told them all the symptoms, and asked for a thyroid, so the say they checked them!
My doctor said its my anxiety but i asked do anxiety csuse me to be dehydration, he said no,but didnt do any further test!Im a veteran so i requesting a new doctor
I can’t believe I have found this video I had ringing in my left ear. I went to nose ear doctor ear pressure checked hearing checked lymph nodes checked and everything checked till the Doctor that was doing an x-ray on my neck that told me that I should go to the chronologist I went to endocrinologist and he informed me I have Hashimoto!
Thank you for posting this video. When I first had severe symptoms with my thyroid, and first finding out my thyroid was swollen, I also had with that extreme pain in my right ear. At my first ENT check up the Dr said that there was no connection to the ear and thyroid and suggested I got to an ear, eye nose specialist for that. I continued to have issues with pain in my ear and had a pretty strong suspicion that it was related to the thyroid. I was diagnosed with Hasimotos and do take vitamin supplements specifically designed for thyroid. This is one of the many reasons I do not trust or even bother with traditional medicine.
