Just found your channel & subscribed! ❤ your info! Please provide info on Hashimoto’s & Reactive Hypoglycemia. I was diagnosed with both, I followed what my dr advised eat small frequent 5-6 times per day small meals containing small amounts of protein, fats & carbs. I did that for years with mixed results, still hard to control blood sugar/hangry. I’m in my 50’s now and I switched to eating 2-3 times per day (no snacks) focusing on protein & fats, low/no carbs I feel better/stable blood sugar/mood. What about carnivore nutrition for Hashimoto’s & could that affect T4 to T3 conversion.
Thank you for this request. This has been a challenge for me as well. I look forward to her response. I have changed to Animal based diet which is like carnivore with low glycemic index fruits and honey. No dairy of course. All the best to you!
Frequent small meals did not work for me. You're constantly calling for insulin when you eat frequently. Intermittent fasting reverses my reactive hypoglycemia. I increased my fasting window by a half hour very week and now I don't get bouts of hypoglycemia.
