I had gynecomastia surgery 8 years ago. The issue was resolved but as we know, surgery don’t correctly does NOT remove the entire gland so as to preserve Asthetics and prevent concave deformity - that being said, am I at risk for it coming back if I take finasteride? I’m really scared about this and this is the sole reason why I do not get on it though I need it.

Hello doctor, my hair was extremely strong and thick, I lost 2÷3 of my hair, I am trying to remove it. I was 15 years old, I applied gel to the roots of my hair, I washed my hair every day, I did not protect my hair in the sun, I was also depressed, after that period, my hair started to thin and fall out. After 1 year, I was diagnosed with androgetic alpoesia for the first 3 months. I used minoxil, I went to the doctor again because it did not block qma dht, I started finasteride, I have completed 1 year now, the side effects are a decrease in libido, difficulty in speaking, there is a problem in the brain, difficulty in thinking, I have difficulty understanding, this is probably my question to the doctor, which I was worried about before, should I stop finasteride and continue using a low level laser cap? My hair will not fall out again. Can I get rid of the side effects? Also, is a low level laser cap as effective as finasteride? Can it protect my hair? I would appreciate it if you could answer me quickly. I am thinking of quitting the drug. I need to study and cannot work.

I have been using it constantly for 2.5 years and have no problems at all. I dissolve approx. 0.1 to 0.2 g RU58841 in 60 mL of 5% minoxidil solution. I use it topical twice a day (about 1 mL per application). I have succesfully stopped my genetic hair loss with it.
I have high blood pressure even though I apply the foam and definitely goes systemic, because I get shortness of breathe, but only slightly? Maybe the pill would be a worth situation?
mine happen during pandemic in 2020. i had long hair since barber shops were closed during pandemic. used to tie my hair in a man bun and started noticing the Traction Alopecia in 2022 when I got my cut. is there any treatments for this? im only at 24 😭
Can I do transplant after my hair is grown with minoxidil? 4 months been since I did my hair transplant now it’s my crown area needs to be done. Can they look the different between my donor area and where the hair is grown ? And also my doctor seen my phone which area I have lost my hair in my crown area.
Started getting symptoms for PFS after two weeks on finasteride. Severe insomnia, tinnitus, appetite gone, low to zero libido, constipation, all started occuring one after another in about a week and lasted 1,5 months before getting to the point I could go back to work. Didn't even know what PFS was until I connected my sudden illness to me starting the finasteride treatment. I desperately hope that this gets taken more seriously and investigated since a product like this should be safe or at least labelled correctly. Know a lot of young men on some of these forums have sadly taken their own lives after having suffered from PFS for years without getting any better and that is just not right.
How about the person has already thin hair from before, then if you shed 100 hairs a day, so your hair gets even more thinner. I think 100 to 150 shed a day its only good for those who have really thick hair.
when taking minoxidil and fin at the same time. If you stop taking minoxidil and continue on fin alone, will the hair gained from minoxidil be lost? What will the effects be from such a change?
Im now 67 and my hair loss began in my twenties, its accelerated this past few years. Its making me feel very depressed, its had a huge negative effect on my life.
I had the worst feeling on minoxidil even with a small amount that I applied on my scalp, I had racing thoughts and anxiety and could barley sit still. I went cold turnkey and instantly felt better and it also caused Brian fog.
