A caloric deficit and massive weight loss is not whats causing the hair loss. No one knows for sure what is causing hairloss with semaglutide. My guess its the medicine itself or maybe a vitamin deficiency, like b12, bc it seems at 3 months of taking it is when the hair loss starts. Its crazy that actual drs dont know the real reason.

Off topic comment but I just wanted to thank you guys for putting out so much quality information I've been struggling with male pattern hair loss for 2 years now I've always been afraid of starting medical therapy due to all the information out there on the internet I recently started finasteride and minoxidil the quality information on your channel encouraged me to give it a try very glad I did

I'm on ozempic I have type 2 diabetes. I have been on it a year in nov and have only lost a Lil over 20lbs in that time. I do not think 20 lbs over a year is drastic weight loss and I've lost a ton of hair. This drug definitely causes significant hair loss ...I can see right through may scalp. I'm going to taper off of this shot before I have no hair left

But is it likely to 'come back' once you're off it? As in, once you stop Ozempic, will the thickness of the hair return to what it used to be pre use of the medication? Please let us know. Thank you.

I have actually never used ozempic I just have regular androgenic alopecia which is progressive so I never suffered of any sudden hair loss it happened gradually over time the original comment I made was to thank the doctors in general not specifically related to the topic of this video

You have to use 5% minoxidil on your scalp, DHT blockers, and eat lots of protein and collagen that'll help for 6 months to a year to grow your hair back

So… what you’re saying is, everything in moderation; otherwise, expect consequences that could range from minor inconveniences to significant disruptions. Pretty much apply that to anything but ok

It's not the massive weight loss, it's the peptide. It starts shedding hair after 1 month. That happens with all peptides

So if you have male pattern baldness, any kind of weight loss can agitate it 3:10? (Excluding Ozempic.)

A friend of mine is on Ozempic but was told it was to help reduce her sugar levels not for a diabetic weight loss treatment although that seems to be the miracle side affect? Your description of Ozempic is a bit confusing. Also, my friend has noticed some hair loss and while she has lost some weight, she has not had a massive weight loss. Maybe 2-4 kilos. Is Ozempic tied to hair loss or is it only where people have had a dramatic weight loss. Thank you.
