If you directly query into database, this method is not productive. This method is usually used when something wrong like server failure then then insert/update/delete is rollback
Perfect pacing, at no moment in this video did I feel like clicking away, I literally sat and watched this guy give me a tour of the sheer amount of things one can do with a raspberry pi, incredible
Maybe I’m missing the point as I haven’t done a comparison, but why are people using Eraser when it’s a clone of Excalidraw which is free and open source (and includes this AI functionality)
So i checked the docs and making it auto generate an openapi doc seems to be more stressful than i thought, is there a way to simplify it ?, as the createRoute seems like u have to be rewriting boilerplate codes for it to work
Yeah no requests no invocations of a lambda function which is so low in cost. But if you have a database running in RDS you will be spending money every month, even if you have no users
I beg to differ. Rpi used to be King now it is the weakest link in systems i build. Programs that should work out of the box often take hours of figuring out how to get them working on a Pi. Docker containers, for example, often dont work on Pi due to ARM chip. The Pi Foundation itself has lost the way and are chasing the idea of low cost desktop that ends up being overpriced platform that underdelivers. Budding developers and makers should spend more time building working software or making stuff than wasting time figuring out why stuff doesn't work on pi.
I'm new to the channel, and this video, but after the clarity of the examples of callbacks, I can only hope you have a full Javascript tutorial, here on RU-vid.
Great video Sam! I'm wondering if it is possible to have all the features offered by NextJS with a similar architecture? Have you considered creating another video but using SSR?
For fun, I tried hosting my website using serverless hosting. Beware that if you have very little traffic and it scales down to 0 instances, the first request will take a few seconds and maybe even time out!
I love git just for the simple reason I don't have to hear other dev and their BS excuses. Git blame normally helps me to find who broke what and how and it helps me in gaining their favors for when I break shit up
