FYI... FIxed rate in the US does not mean what is in this video. This is unique to outside the US. A fixed rate mortgage would be for the entire period of the mortgage. What you're describing in this video in the context of the US mortgage market is a 5year ARM (adjustable rate mortgage). It is considered a variable rate loan with a 5 year initial term. Since the US mortgage is by far the largest globally, this would be considered the exception to the way of describing it not the norm. The norm in jargon and naming convention would match the US (a far larger mortgage market by size).

Banks are selling mortgages. People always say it's a good option to buy at discount, but with the market turmoil and everything at stake in present economy, I'm thinking of buying stable coin to hedge against inflation, or is it all right saving over 350k ?

There are options that spread across multiple banks. I use a non-beginner broker that protest up to 3 million dollars and provide 4.58% returns on cash, it's always a good idea to consider working with an advisor for financial planning

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

I see the rising interest rate as a very big problem, as more investors will definitely pull out more money from the Stock market. This might have worked when I was still invest-ing with a couple thousand dollars, but it is more difficult now to decide whether to pull out more than $365k from my port-folio. I know some inves-tors still make that despite the strong bear market. In wish I could pull that feat

Investment is a way to save money for the future as well as a way to generate passive income. Those who make poor mistakes early in life regret them later in life. But, if done alone, investing may be challenging and risky. For this reason, I suggest consulting experts for advice (financial advisors). The difficulty lies in effectively employing it, not just watching videos and reading investing books.

The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. This is still a window-shopping market. But there are a lot of intriguing stocks to watch from a variety of sectors. You don’t have to act on all forecasts, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.

Either you're throwing is bad or my catching is bad or both. I don't know when or who is lending or selling where. Why is anyone selling? I thought it was borrowing from someone who had shares then the borrower buys at a lower price. When the lender lends, then they are no longer liable for the stocks fluctuations?
