wait I swear I answered this comment so long story short to make a full yellow belt of blue circuits you need 200 assemblers for blue circuits and 24 full belts of green circuits it's a little bit hard to supply it, so it's fine you you build like only 20 assemblers :)
If it waa a fusion reactor it would safely outgas. If it was a fission reactor after the reactor was destroyed it would take time for the fissile.material to burn off the remaining coolant and go supercritical. If the reactor had failsfmafes it might not go critical at all.. Of course spreading radioactive dust around would suck.
All you really need in Factorio are: roboport, drones, logistics chests and nuclear energy. Thats all. Drones will deliver everything you need to everywhere where you want (inside logistics area of roboport), using barrels them will transfer even liquids. All other stuff is a sorta usless bullshit inside the game: since you get the drones tech and nuclear tech, you've became a demigod of Factorio: just build more nuclear power stations, more dronestations and produce more drones and logistics chests. Drones will deliver everything. What will you get with that strategy: 1) Well balanced and global economy (in terms of Factorio) 2) Reliability of logistics 3) Flexibility of logistics 4) Global affection from upgrades 1) For the most casses you should use yellow (with filter) and blue chests: blue for input, yellow for output. Why exactly yellow chests? - That is to prevent overproduction (in case of purple usage instead) and to prioritize storages (when you want to make some reserves, you need to make them prevented from being used until there is a really need, so thats why you should use yellow chests instead of red ones). In some cases, you should use purple chests, first of all to pour out liquids: purple chest is used to put empty barrels (an assembler gets barrels with liquid from blue chest and puts empty barrels into purple one, to keep provide a liquid). Why do I say, that yellow chests should be used for output for the most cases? - That is because yellow will prevent you from overproduction and from overconsumption of components that are used to produce overproduced things (excess somewhere is - in most cases - a deficite somewhere else). So, your production units will produce unitll their yellow chests will be full. When some items will become useless, these items will be returned back to yellow chests of production units which produce same type of items, so that units will stop production that products earlier. And, if your electricity production will fall, nothing bad will happen with your factory: it will keep produce things it produced before, without any changes, except an amout of outcome. When some items will be produced in enogh quantities, their input components will become able to be used to produce other items, which also needs such input components (instead of being useless garbage on the belts, inside chests e.t.c.). Throughput of the "drones cloud" has no theoretical limit, unlike railroads and belts: as many as drones you have, so many thing you can deliver in a given time. Whereas for belt, your throughput is very limited by a constant. For railroads it constant is much bigger, but it is still limited. For a better balance, you should make your blue chests able to "steal" items (via turning on corresponding checkbox) from green ones, and use green ones near of blue ones (for caching purpose). As far, as content of green chests is able for blue chests as well as for player, it will prevent drones from travelling "around the world and the 7 seas": when some blue chest needs something, drones will deliver items from nearest green one, that should be much easier, than delivering that items from yellow one somewhere faraway from blue one. So, when blue chest needs something it gets that from the green one (that is frequent case, and it is better to resolve that query as fast as possible), where as delivering to green one from yellow one is much less frequent work that can be done by drones anytime. 2) It is very common case, when something goes wrong, that railroad or belts fails to deliver it's items. That could be caused by the damage to it's segment by bitters, or some your mistakes. Anyway, production line will stall, if it unable to consume items it needs due to logistics failure (bad designed factory or a damage). In case of drones, all your possible loses will be some amount of drones and items (in case of bitters attack), and no loses at all in case of bad design, because bad design will never stop production of your factory, if all delivered by drones. 3) In short: with drone-based delivery, you're able to deploy your production everywhere (inside of the logistic coverage of your roboports): all the difference is efficiency, but, technically speaking, everywhere. If some part of your factory gets it's inputs by belts or railroad, you're tightly bound to your logistics: you're unable to rebuild one part of your factory, without rebuild of precending one. If your factory gets it's inputs by drones, your're able to rebuild any part of your factory, anytime, anywhere as you can imagine and wish: nothing will be broken, except an exact thing you will rebuild. Some productive configurations of production lines are impossible without drones: throughput of belts makes them impossible to work. But drone-based delivery makes such configurations possible. 4) When you upgrade your belts, for example, from yellow to orange one, nothing happens itself: you have to select an area, where build drones will change one sort of belts to other one, than you have to produce new sort of belts. But, if you upgrade speed of your logitics drones, your upgrade will be applied to all your factory "automagically": since that moment, all your factory's delivery will work faster itself: noop needed from you.
Why is it always people with thick accents that create the most helpful and insightful videos? I'm not saying the accent is bad in any way, just that these videos are always made by someone with a thick accent. Maybe native English speakers are just dumber than the rest of the world? Speed and productivity modules get all the glory, but if you start running into power problems, there's a lot to say about stuffing efficiency modules into every machine you don't need to be running fast!
masz ci los, no trudno, to chociaż krótkie shoty, wiem że każdy patrzy na " wyświetlenia " bo tylko dzięki temu można sie utrzymać, ale są też gracze którzy nie do końca wszystko rozumieją, np ja. jest sporo rzeczy których nie ogarniam ale po omacku coś tam powoli łapie
Mines are by far the best defence. 1.25 iron per landmine and 250-350 damage plus blast raduis, being ~50 times cheaper than turrets and kills enemies instantly. Hugely underestimated
