Can somebody please translate and close caption this concert? Uploader, can you please have this done? Ask on Reddit, please. We need to have this in English!
Whoever tuned the drums on the 3rd Black Mages album needs to go back and learn how to mix. I can't get over how awful they sound, and they don't sound much better live either.
Being a keyboard player in America, no one cares that I'm even up there with the band. lol They seem much more appreciative of keyboard players in Japan.
@@clintonwilcox4690 Oh, Kenichiro Fukui? Probably because Uematsu told the crowd that he's a teacher at a vocational school. That's why you heard "Fukui-sensei" 35:03
18:26 Uematsu: "Alright everyone, the big Mr. Koichi Sugiyama is over there watching" Crowd: "WHOA" Uematsu: "Gocha bich" (loose translation, btw. Uematsu did said that "Koichi Sugiyama-sensei" is watching, but he then said "aho ga miru" which roughly means "those who looked are stupid" (aho = stupid, miru = look). 33:36 Arata Hanyuda... worked as project supervisor for a few Square games. 34:18 Keiji Kawamori mostly worked as the synthesizer programmer for FF8, 9, 10, 12, and 13, music supervisor and music director for the newer games that used live instruments. 35:03 Kenichiro Fukui composed music for Einhander. Mostly worked as sound engineer, arranger, and performer. Teaches at a vocational school (HAL Tokyo). 36:57 Michio Okamiya mostly worked as Production Manager and Coordinator, performer, and arranger for several OSTs Square made. Last worked with Square in FF14 1.0 as arranger and synthesizer programming. Apparently composed some music for Kantai Collection. Worked with Uematsu again in Fantasian on technical matters on the music section (mixing, synth programming, and performing). 38:08 Tsuyoshi Sekito composed music for Brave Fencer Musashi and co-composed Chocobo Dungeon 2. Arranged most remakes and remasters (PS1 version of FF1 and FF2, DS version of FF3, DS version of Chrono Trigger, arranged some music for FF7Remake). 1:32:12 is a new composition made by Uematsu called LIFE ~ in memory of KEITEN ~. It was dedicated to Yoshitaka Tagawa, a fifteen-year-old fan who suffered from acute myeloid leukemia. After Uematsu presented him with the song, he became an active attendant to many of the famed composer's performances, while seemingly indicating that he was overcoming the disease. Tagawa passed away on January 25th, 2008 at age 22, two months before the release of the album. As a tribute to him, the band included the song as the closing track for their album. Sounds a bit like Descendant of Shinobi to me, just a bit.
14:12 Now that's a rather unconventional wah-wah pedal. Actually, it's the first time I've seen a talkbox being used with an electric guitar. I like it!
I think it's a shame that we don't see more of Twilight Thorn. After all, it seems like it was meant to be a nobody counterpart for the darksides, and we see plenty of darksides.
yeah, hes basically just thanking the crowd and notes which his favorite songs are, and how he loves the games and it is a very complex process composing the music and working with the game developers. very sugoi and kawaii
