Watching this and balling my eyes out. This makes me so fucking happy, so why is it also so freaking sad? I absolutely cannot count how many times I’ve seen them in concert. Every time they came around we’d see them 3-4 times then travel and see them another 3-4 times. I am so very grateful they’re back together again, although to be honest I got seriously into CRB seeing them live so freaking many times. I was also really into the music of Rich and then Magpie. If only they’d revisit that as well as play the Crowes. I saw them on their first tour 4 times and it was freaking brilliant! They both looked and sounded in top form! This latest round though has me very concerned and a whole lot sad if I’m being honest. It seems very commercial….like when ZZ Top or Aerosmith went mainstream and lost every damn bit of their mojo. Look man, Chris Robinson is the best thing that has ever happened to me musically and if he doesn’t bring the real deal it just might be time for me to lay down and die already. Look, I get getting older ok, I’m just this year starting to feel some bit of change myself. I’ve been mistaken for a 35 year old the last 20 years, no kidding. But it almost feels like Chris is too much into embracing it for my liking, the fucked up clothes, the easy stage presence. Chris can still look amazingly cool, no doubt, it isn’t about dressing up or down…it is about the PARTICULAR style he is dressing as…his fashion consultant needs to be FIRED! Also, and I know it surely sounds dumb but, the hair style, come on man. It really wasn’t very long ago that Chris Robinson Brotherhood was still playing…Chris please…we aren’t too old yet, step it up a bit sweetheart! I love you more than I can say, so it’s really coming from a place of big love!
Saw their unannounced show at 40W in Athens in Feb or March of 1992 when they played these songs before SHAMC had even come out - was one of many epic shows at that venue in those years but right up there with
Fuck yeah! A great band covering a killer Who tune. If I thought they would play this tune on the current tour, I would travel up and down the Northeast.
Whatever happened to this Howard Stern? He's now an ass kisser with a vagina. He never cared about the a listers and pressed everyone's buttons. Now he's the most innoffensive, boring cookie cutter, Ellen Degeneres clone.
Just think...we never thought this was top of the mountain while it was happening, but I'd take this 100 times out of 100 instead of the dumpster fire Rich and Chris put on stage in 2024.
Saw them in London on the Happiness Bastards tour in May, superb !!. Chris's voice is still as good as when I first saw them in the early 90's. They sound absolutely epic here, the new tracks are kicking !!.
I was at this show. This show made me want to do music as a career. Probably the best concert I've ever seen. Great show! Loved the guitars/rhythm section, vocals, and to see Jimmy Page? Pretty cool! Loved that Joe Perry came out too. Total shocker. Wasn't expecting that! Even Eddie (RIP) got to tear it up on the keys! Thank you for posting this!
First bits are missing as i presume it was when the p.a blew up, i recall them playing on acoustically until it got sorted, consumate professionals they are. So i wish they had included it here anyway the rest was an awesome gig.
I understand the thing called evolution and live in the moment, they're still good but the power (energie) from '91 till '95... Oah The high zs the moon tour...with Marc Ford you can't go wrong
I've always like the Crowes, but I feel I took'em for granted in the 90's. We were used to have good Rock bands back then. Cool to get on youtube n' appretiate'em more now. Thanks for sharing
