I'm Thire, I've been playing tent for roughly 4 years now and this is to be the ultimate tenta brella resource: it contains montages, guides, gameplay and will feature discussion videos in the future. An ultimate tent guide is in the works, and is scheduled to hopefully drop by the end of the summer, subscribe so you don't miss it! If you have any questions about tenta brella, feel free to ask them in a comment section and I'll be sure to answer them :)
Updates and release dates of uploads will always be announced in the community tab of the channel!
I'm not on other social media platforms at the moment, but if you are on the hellfire of TikTok, I recommend following Scrub, as she's awesome and is also really good with tent :) Follow Scrub: www.tiktok.com/@scrubtent?_t=8kbJ8fTWnTm&_r=1
The only thing I’m not getting is why no one bombed your shield(in the first game)😭 like amazing gameplay, but I thought a couple times they could killed you with a bomb
That footage was pretty early on in Splatoon 3's lifespan and, I'm gonna be completely honest with you, people forgot they could bomb the tent shield in these early S3 days 🧍♂️ It's not a joke, I played the game a lot in that time period and tent was so buggy that the weapon became so rare that people just... forgot how to fight for a few months. No matter the rank or if it was a scrim or a tourney, low, mid, or high level, the people that actually used bombs on my shield were extremely rare. Why did they not bomb me? I'm guessing that team in the first match also forgot that was a thing they could do, just like many, many other people of the game. Very tragically, with time and especially with the arrival of stent, the weapon became more common again, causing the populace's amnesia to fade, and now people will know to use the r button when someone's on tent.
The weapon's pretty difficult, but once you got the aiming basics, it can be fun pretty easily; go to the training room and train your aim for 15 minutes, practice shots that you know will come up in a match (for example, opponents will swim next to your shield tying to flank it in an actual match, so try practicing something similar with the moving targets in the training room!)
I fear you missed your window my good fellow; while tent itself is the strongest it's been since the early S2 vtent nerfs, it's almost entirely due to zooka The amount of stuff who counter it is BERSERK to say the least (cue splatanas, bows and charger basically 2 shotting your shield, and custom range blaster being nightmare fuel, on top of all these weapons being extremely common right now, on top of all of the bombs and specials) The weapon's fine but playing it makes you realize how bullshit its matchups are and how miserable the weapon can feel I want people to play the weapon and have fun, but I can't do that in good faith right now and guarantee they'll have a fun time, so I would say give it a shot and see for yourself
Woooow, literally my last comment on another channel was talking about how I like when players put their thoughts on the screen! So awesome that you're doing it too!
Ha, fair enough but what do you want me to tell you? They didn’t want to play another weapon and I sure as hell ain’t gonna play vtent on manta zones 🧍♂️
This the kinda players I got put against in A-rank💀 Anyway, Ima try to improve myself based on the gameplay here, since this seems quite professional:)
Yes, that’s exactly it! You can have up to 2 ink mines on the field at once; if you want to place a third, the first one will detonate, painting an area comparable to the explosion of a splat bomb Doing this is basically the equivalent of throwing a bomb as you respawn to charge your special a bit, but more versatile imo: It means that you can hide in a certain spot while at 97% of your zooka, and be able to get it and pop it and surprise the opponent with the opponent being unable to play around it, since there was no indicator that you had your special on top of the screen 🧠
It's a definitely a difficult but fun weapon; there's not a ton of resources when it comes to it on RU-vid sadly, but there's still a fair chunk of relevant insight on it available on this channel, Shadowind's and KeenSaysGM's. I also want to make a guide on the weapon, but I want to wait a bit; it's likely the game's final season, and there is a world in which next midseason's patch is the last one (I don't want to put information in a guide that becomes false 2 weeks later)
You have insane aim bro and your tent fundies are amazing. Just need to optimize your zooka uses. I say this but it’s much easier to speak in hindsight.
Ha, true that I messed up a few of my zookas but honestly, the special is so broken and tent gets it so fast that it really feels like you can get away with greedy uses like the ones in this video; you'll just always get some value out of your zookas (whether it be splats or displacing the opponents for a few seconds, kind of like tenta missiles), so you might as well get as many as you can And you know the best part, zooka survived YET another patch wooooo this is super unhealthy for the game but I sure missed having the broken special 🎉
Tent’s shots are made of pellets, the wider the hitbox of the opponent is, the more the damage will be consistent; inkling and octoling’s hitbox is the widest around the stomach/torso, so you should aim there I’ve found aiming lower than usual (aka compared to other non brella weapons) to really work out and help with damage consistency Hope this helps! I’ll be sure to include this in the guide 🤝
I’m really looking forward to making a Quick Super Jump Tent gear, it just seems so chaotic and fun!! …I just need 300 or so Bronze scales so I can get the entire Octoleet set as that’s what I’m wanting to use for QSJ gear.
I get to select my best moments from hours of gaming, ofc I can make myself look mighty at a glance And even then, this is a singular, flawed clip I missed the one-shot on the roller twice, ran out of ink, missed twice with zooka and missed the one-shot on the edit again
@@dtthire yeah fair, of course you can always make urself look good, but i think youre pretty good i cant lie. You analysing your mistakes only adds to that :P
