Too much info and science for nothing. You don't need that. I'm just playing 1st time, using Ritualist (as main)+Medic, and it's just great. You people making games looks like Rocket Science, instead to just relax and enjoy it. "Need this, that, the other, that ring, that amulet, that weapon", blablabla. It's just a game, not real life athletic event.
Gunfire Reborn is better by far. Characters are more fun to play. Weapons and other equips have more fun properties. There is a lot of skill expression in Gunfire Reborn, especially since the game will sometimes require you to use a weapon you aren't familiar with or enter a stage with less upgrades than you might want. Roboquest feels bland after several tries, but Gunfire Reborn continues to be fun and interesting thanks to all the possible combinations of stuff you could potentially get in a run.
I totally agree with your take on both games. I really enjoyed Gunfire Reborn but I love Roboquest more and have spent over 9 days playing it on Xbox (216+ hours). The gameplay is fast, fluid and relentless, where playing aggressively is so satisfying and rewarding once you get to know the mechanics of the controls and how the game works in general. Plus the fact it’s still challenging after all that time spent playing it makes it even better. They ain’t no Hades though..or Dead Cells for that matter
Played both, couldn't get into GR like I have with RQ. GR just feels sluggish to play, while RQ just scratches that itch for a fun, movement oriented shooter. Hell, I'd argue Satisfactory, a factory builder game, has better movement mechanics than GR. I've 100%'d RQ by now, and it was an amazing experience.
I watched nearly all of this video and I wish that every single video game came with a video like this! Games become way more fun when you understand wtf is happening all around you! Devs should release a mechanics guide for their games, completely optional, for people who want to know exactly why things are happening lol
This guy pronounces every other word right other than difficulty.. I call bs. Either way isnt there a ring that gives you an extra bulwark stack making the total possible to 6?
If I’ve already created a hardcore character and have grinded the preacher and Tasha and am about to start campaign but don’t have the stuff to make the invikter or invoker class do would I need to remake the hardcore character if I have to go and find it with a different character or is there an just as good combo as invikter whatever it’s called
