Slap a mace on there with the steadfast mutator on there, replace the last ring with the Bisected Ring & you can sit there swinging the whole time for most bosses with the boosted damage resistance from using the heavy attack, being uninterrupted during & all health becoming gray health during heavy attacks. Don't wanna use a mace? Could use world's edge for the ranged attack or wrathbringer for the 50% melee damage increase.
@@kodyking3090 I’ve been playing since launch so it’s not expensive for me but I’ve played with people who I know can’t keep up with maintaining that many concoctions.
@@kodyking3090 I’m over 500hrs in and have over a million in scrap and still can empathise with the people I’ve spoken to while playing who talk about not being able to afford such builds. I’m happy you are all good but that doesn’t change things for those who are not in your position.
Pass. Swap the melee for Wrathbringer (+50% dmg) with Steady (-1 stagger), an arch for Engi (preferably prime), clay ring for mechanics cog, HMB for heals (grace or melee lifesteal). Self-bleed isn't necessary either but it's fine. I would also swap the necklace for participation or whispering marble but I kinda hate consumables so do whatever. You can maintain PERMANENT 79.6% DR while in turret carry and get to drop strong back entirely. Melee mods and mutators DO APPLY to turret melee on top of the usual carry bonus of i-frames and DR. Engi should be prime for unlimited ammo on a cooldown for pesky flying enemies. Alch prime is fine if you want to stick with consumable spam. Also, swap for Leto 1s. My big problem with tanking is that stagger is goddamn annoying in this game and there are very few ways to deal with it that aren't on a cooldown. So there you go. Something wants to hurt you? Bash it in the face to utterly ignore their hit while still doing damage. Otherwise you have the laser minigun. Go ham.
I actually came up with this same build on my own when explaining something to a friend (he’s a mega noob when it comes to build making and relys on us to make them), although it is not the same exact build so to speak. The rings are the same, but the amulet and class arrangement is different. I’m rocking Medic/Summoner with the flyer minion. Resonating Heart with the same relic shards, but instead of Armor, I’m rocking DR for a comfy damage reduction just grazing the DR hard cap. I’m rocking the cleansing stone as my amulet. It’s so I can consistently proc the bonus healing with Res heart. The weapons aren’t really important, I personally rock the wrangler with song of Eafir, failsafe mutator ofc. The wrathbringer is a recent add on and it replaced my spectral blade with the transference mutator. The sidearm is actually the double barrel with the root lash mod, and the harmonizer mutator. Overall, you tank a lot more with this particular set, and I casually walked through apoc like it was butter in a 3 person coop world. (They were legit dying on me left and right as well.) Only reason I made this was because me and the boys were trying to grind for corrupted shards.
To add on, even with the weird glitch of the summoner class not being able to summon after a minion dies, the build takes a bit more skill to use when getting swarmed, but overall it’s the same general gameplan with this build. If I were to change anything, maybe use the Invader class with the wormhole skill, while investing in other traits the focus on general movement speed. It could theoretically be better, but I know you can take a lot more punishment if you have the flyer minions. Even moves that one shot on Apoc because of their damage numbers like the Annihilation slams; you can walk through it pretty comfortably. The only downside to summoner is the Flyer Minion maintenance. You will need to use the Res heart every 10 seconds give or take, but you do get the hearts back regularly as well while in combat. Plus Flyer minions give more options when fighting the enemies that fly. If they ever give summoners the ability to summon double reavers, then that would be the best thing to put, but for now since that is not a reality, the Flyer Minion is objectively better for tanking purposes.
Thanks for the time you put into this, great F'n build!!! How long did it take you, to get your meat shake, from the cook in Ward 13? It's been 2 days, and nothing yet? Thanks
On day two I just left my game open for 2 hours and mostly afk'ed in front of Duane and intermittently talked to him and the chick that pesters him about his cooking.
@@CyrusCyan dude, that is too funny, I did the same thing, out of frustration I just parked my character in front of the grill, turned off the controller, came back about 4 or 5 hours later, and boom, got my concoction, lol
I'm running something similar but put on the ring that gives me 6% life steal while suffering from a status effect and the amulet that gives me 20% more damage while suffering from one and makes them do 50% less damage. I'm messing around with the siphon heart as well giving me a total of 19% life steal, you get back huge chucks of health it's pretty fun 😅. I haven't gotten the clay ring yet
When I try to play coop, I usually get kicked out. I play good enough to sustain myself, I just can't go through the myriad of items to upgrade myself.
Can confirm: 5 seconds after spawning, yes. Every second you lose 1.1 health, so after 5 seconds it never decays because even if a stack would time out, you'd just get another. As for the build, A: I would've named it the Remnant 1 Build, (since there was no concoctions limit, you'd have just as many...) and B: I feel this just doesn't beat the Root Doctor build in terms of survivability. I really do like the trio of rings it's centered around, and I'm trying to figure out a way to really pump the DPS with Ritualist instead. I'll let you know if I can pull it off.
What weapon is that I feel like I have every weapon in the game I've been messing around with a Meelee build for like a week before I just looked up one
@@jacobcarroll2848 the melee weapon you get from the true king (DLC boss) called Wrathbringer and it’s ability will always be at max staks thanks to the bleed ring
nope, the bulwark cap is 5 so you are going to make a redundant build. Besides, the other trinkets like the clay ring dont offer much for the if you compare them state wise with the hardcore metalband lets say and the new medal amulet you get from dying on apocalypse
very sexy build, only thing I dont agree with is endurance instead of recovery, recovery is always my top choice for stamina, try it out :) But many thanks for this build man !!!!
Leto MK2 gets to 90 weight with Strong Back so you can heavy dodge. Leto MK1 weighs over 90 even with Strong Back and always flops while it barely has more armor points. Not worth.
There are no 1 hit mechanics in this game. There is always a damage related, you just haven't mitigated enough damage. There are also ways to mitigate damage by making enemy do less damage like Song of Eafir mode, Ritualist terrify debuff or Challenger intimidating presence.
Quite simply, Bulwark is a buff in Remnant 2 that grants damage reduction. More specifically, the effect provides 5% damage reduction, and it can stack multiple times.
yeap truly hard hitting aco bosses won't be tanked by this build because of low healing + bleed lowering it even more. Dps of this build is pretty low still for tank build with. Myself not bothering dodge because of flop build and still doing pretty high dps is Medic/engineer with relic abuse you do as medic you get turret full ammo fast and that thing do nice constant dps. Other thing about this video in this calling 1 hit mechanic are not realy thing most of those things are just high damage attack which just need inaf tankiness to survive example anhilation does not have 1 hit mechanic just 900 dmg hitting attack with follow up which needs you have high dr and high hp to survive that hit + healing to survive next hit.
@@ronioksanen3183 Yeah, but honestly I prefer that, I like getting my armor just low enough to still dodge but still able to take a good bit of the smaller hits, feels less brain dead then, stand there and do nothing with infinite healing bs, yours can be easily thrown into the fun category because not only can you take a hit or two, your actually doing damage lol
Its not a hybrid dps build. Damage is super low on your setup. Using so much healing while you are bleeding 24/7 is counterintuitive, lifestealing is the way to go. Against hard hitting enemies and bursty aberrations you don't stand a chance.
You are partially correct regarding this build's DPS. However, in overall this is a solid build for apoc solo. Just need to change the long gun to sth more decent, few changes in the traits, and swap one ring for more life steal, you are good. Dodging is still required for high burst damage bosses. I used the Monarch + momentum just because of its homing bullets save my time.
nice but very boring to play and time consuming to kill anything. The spark is very bad on anything except a gunslinger because you have to eat an ammo box every 30 seconds
Yea there's not much "effective" in between build wise. At least imo, it feels like you either do massive dps and dodge roll around perfectly or you build so that you can eat 90% of atks and dont do much dps. Not to sound toxic about it but it really is a "git gud" game. Objectively speaking the best builds are full dps and either naked or blue weight maybe green but on apoc you may as well be naked in green weight too. That's the great thing about loadouts if i have a bad day ill run something like this once my dodge and shot feels on again ill swap to something like hugs
@@robertsnead2319 there are many build in between but many people who make builds have no idea what they are doing and the algorithm just promotes their videos and people use very weird builds. Some things will get patched but overall, there is a lot more room for great hybrid builds now. I was messing around with a melee build that ended up being super tanky but dealing more damage than hugs ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WwGoaTnJEYU.html
