By far the best Clark AND Superman I’ve seen in a very long time. Tyler is amazing in this series. The scene when he goes to confront Candice’s dad is just perfect, the shifts in voice tone and body language… terrific work.
@@cephlo4933 it is like the rest of the Arrowverse. It is a soap opera with superheroes. There was an episode where Clark said his children were more important than him being Superman. Wrong. That is just wrong.
@@ak102986 Yeah that's gonna be a no considering the fact that most of the show is so far detached and way better in terms of quality and story wise, did we watch the same show? Also you do not understand Superman if you think him saying that his children are more important than him is wrong.
Tyler Hoechlin is the best choice for Superman in this series. He can always be serious as Superman, but can still have a sense of humor while being dorky and funny as a father 😂
Tyler Hoechlin is the best portrayal of Superman AND Clark Kent simultaneously. He is to Superman what Tom Holland is to Spiderman. Zack Snyder made Henry Cavill feel like Superman was OP or God to humans, but I guess he kinda forgot Clark Kent was also in there.
Just found out about this series today. What the f*** is happening why am I watching Superman like it's modern f****** family. Is this Superman written for a female audience? Probably, right? Superman is the 'have your cake and eat it too' style of Man designed for the modern woman where he's like this doting & slightly effeminate, incredibly sensitive husband and at the same time can do all the hypermasculine things that Superman can do. Superman for the female gaze. Fair enough. Enjoy. :)
when I first think of tyler hoechlin I think about Derek Hale but right after it's Superman. I love both characters. Tyler's Superman is my favorite superman and Henry Cavill is the most cinematic superman. But Tyler is the best father, hero, husband and teacher.
Completely miscast. Way too skinny in the suit. Face looks like he been at the beach in summer with big hat and shades for a week. Presence is identical whether as clark or as supes.
@@_Irrelevant i agree that he has heart but imo he comes across as too nerdy when he is superman. He doesnt have a presence that makes people feel safe.
@@antondelacruz9362To be fair, Superman is also a nerd and dork. One time in the comics, he smelled brownies in Dakota (while he was in space btw) and told the Justice League "Guys, I smell brownies. We need to go right now."
@@esteban8471 the superman identiy is supposed to be a good ol boy not a nerd. Clark is the nerd because he is traditionally and intentionally portrayed as an exaggeratedly mousey and unconfident person, as opposed to the confident and powerful superman.
@@antondelacruz9362 Superman can be both confident and a dork. That "My mom made it for me" line is straight from the comics. You said it yourself. It's the confidence that separates Clark from Superman, but he can still be a nerd in both. People don't feel comfort in Superman just because he's strong or confident, but because he's the type of person to wave at you when he's done saving the day. I don't know. Maybe I'm just misinterpreting what you're saying, but I think this portrayal is fine.
I’ve followed Hoechlin for years and thought about watching this show off and on, but this edit had absolutely convinced me that I need to watch it. Like…if editing and post production is not your job, it damn well should be. This video is amazingly well done!
Dear Thomas, This is the first letter I can remember writing. Obviously I don't know if I've written any letters before the Maze. But even if it's not my first, it's likely to be my last. I want you to know that I'm not afraid. About dying anyways or forgetting. It's losing myself to this virus, that's what scares me. So every night I've been saying their names out loud. Alby, Winston, Chuck. And I just repeat them over and over like a prayer. And it all comes flooding back. Just the little things. Like when the sun used to hit the glade at the perfect moment, right before it'd slip beneath the walls. And I remember the taste of Frypans stew. I'd never thought I'd miss that stuff so much. I remember you. I remember you first coming up in the box, just a scared little greenie, who couldn't even remember his own name. But from the moment you ran into the maze, I knew that I would follow you anywhere. And I have. We all have. If I could do it all over again I would, and I wouldn't change a thing. My hope for you is when your looking back, years from now, is that you'll stay the same. The future is in your hands now Tommy, and I know you'll find a way to do what's right, you always have. Take care of everyone for me. And take care of yourself. You deserve to be happy, Thank you for being my friend. Goodbye, Mate. Newt.
