I've just installed intercom into my EXO-1400 EVO Carbon, and the noise level was completely ruined when not having the pads covering the speaker holes there. I ended up installing the pads again over the intercom, but as they have plastic sheets attached to them, the intercom volume isn't very good instead.. What would be your recommendation @scorpionsportseurope ?
Will Exo Com fit an Exo 230 helmet please? The manual says it will, but your web site says it won't. I have tried Facebook and Instagram without a reply!
What a stupid solution for charging. The are 2 bullet proofed solutions: A: The battery slot has contacts and there is no need to pull out any cables. B: There is a USB port for charging without removing the battery. A has the advantage of the optional 2nd battery for long usage and the helmet needs not to placed near the power outlet, B is the quick standard. Or you choose C, an inductive loading but maybe this will be to expensive. But never make such an solution if you want to become a serious player at the market.
Work at a dealership and straight up would not recommend this helmet, the cheek pads have a stud like holder to hold the pads to the helmet and that mechanism is very susceptible to braking during install...
Not trying to hate, but your video sucks showing where, how much, placement of the wiring sticky tabs... You need more lighting, and show about how much wire your tucking back since it would be helpful to leave enought to pull the battery out to charge. 🤦♂️🤷♂️
There is a thick seam on the left and right of the inner lining that puts extreme pressure on the temples. The pin-lock visor on my helmet fogs up heavily after a short time. The umbrella on his forehead wobbles back and forth. You also have to keep tightening the screws. Normally the chin part should be padded on the inside. But with this helmet everything is made of hard plastic, and there is also this hard nub from the ventilation mechanism, right in front of the chin. In an accident it would shatter the chin. I can only advise against this helmet!
Hello good evening, to charge the battery, is it necessary to disassemble the inside of the helmet? Just remove the battery to charge? Could you make a video explaining better how to do it?
Peak/visor screws come loose every trip worst helmet I've ever had... No reply from Scorpion and dealer told me it's a maintenance issue. Tighten up screws before a journey and they come loose as you ride along.
Thanks for the video and instructions. I wish the lighting would have been better in some scenes when filming into the helmet. Comparing the sound qualitiy to my Samsung Galaxy buds live (which I even used before inside the helmet for music an phone calls) this is pretty bad sound quality. Fidling a bit with the equalizer helps a bit. The whole situation with the battery placement and the need to remove it for charging is pretty ridiculous.
Omg.😂...who was responsible for the marketing for this......😅. 1)bike fail ..2) rider fail. 3) skate shoes, no boots .....fail . 4) last skinny jeans....lol fail 😅😅😅😅
Unfortunately, the inflatable cheek pads on my helmet broke after just 3 years and can no longer be inflated. The helmet no longer sits firmly on the head. Scorpion can only be reached via a contact form on their homepage. I've been waiting here for days for an answer as to whether this is still a warranty case. Looks like this was my first and last Scorpion helmet. A pity.
Hey, thanks for the advice. I already spoke to the shop where I bought the helmet. They are only the ones to take care of warranty issues for the first 24 months. Therefore I tried to reach out to one of the Scorpion sellers that they list on their homepage to take over. Spoke to three different shops. None of them knew that they where listet on that homepage. Last thing I did was to use the contact form on Scorpion's homepage.
My buddy and I used the 930 intercoms on a four-month ride (18,000 miles) from the US to Tierra del Fuego, then Buenos Aires. The coms were super easy to install and use, and removing the batteries for charging was no big deal. (No need to remove pads.). We would typically get 2-3 days of use from one charge.
Et vous n'expliquez pas comment remonter correctement la visière? C'est pourtant le plus important non? Cette video est inachevée par consequant inutile.
well great, i removed the inner lining and all the red clips are broken! if u look at 0:42 the person pulled them out, i was carefull but still 4 out of 6 broke off
How big are the speakers? I have one from Amazon for 30€ but the speakers making my helmet much more tightly, to use without a mask it hurts my ears when i have the helmet on for a longer time. Now i was looking for the original and the speakers looking much bigger and the management and loading is really bad. I wanted to sent back the Amazon one and buy this but now, i will still use the amazon one xD
