i'm gonna just say that what planes are like in real life shouldn't be considered as ground battles are literally nothing like real battlefields. also for someone who just wants to play the tanks it is pretty frustrating for the the counters to be A. grind the aa lines and then learn to use all the different AA's which are still the worse option or B. learn to use planes that they don't give a fuck about grind the air tree that they don't care about untill they get good fighter planes and then spawen those in just to counter CAS. i do agree on the solution though
Honestly there is many tanks in list that may not be effective, but they are fun to play I have my own candidate, the Leopard 1 It usually on a bottom of list where it can meet brothers with stabilizers, whose stock shells penetrate it's armour from the paper And everytime you go in battle, you must pray that the flag of Swedish Kingdom will be on your team when you hold Tab, because otherwise you will get annihilated by VIDAR (PIDAR)
My favorite fighter. Great agility and very good performance at ground level altitude (unlike piston engine aircrafts) Probably the best choice for intercepting the enemy planes in Ground battles. At least for me (I'm a tankman, not a pilot).
Why do you have a problem with Panthers? As a german main I play other nations too, and my favorite non german tank is the M18 and I only have a problem with them because of the volumetric shells but 7 times out of 10 I kill a Panther easily. Also you forgot about russian tank destroyers, they can kill them too, M36 also. With other stuff I mostly agree, but I would like to see a optional ground only mode, I know that its not possible and it "will increase" the queue time but I dont want to research spaa or planes when the research time is already slow. Also why wouldnt it be viable to have ground only mode? Also if you are in a maus, you could hide behinde buildings but how will you when an enemy can see you from the air, I bombed few of maus players with american planes and it was easy to see them even if they werent spotted, you cant hide from planes except if you are in a building. Also its requered to have multiple spaa's in your team because 9/10 times there will be a whole air force in the air and you wont be able to kill them without you being killed, you shoot one down and another from the opposite direction comes at you and kills you, wow amazing gameplay.
Even though it was only a prototype, and was really only designed as a reconnaissance aircraft, I feel like an alternate layout of the Republic XF-12 Rainbow rigged for bombing would be fantastic if they added it!
The XF5U was called the "Flying Flapjack" and the only prototype was so sturdy that the yanks had to use a wrecking ball to destroy it. At least they did THAT right.

the Pz II Luchs makes sense for the light tank path ngl around BR 2.3 or BR 3.0 or smth since its speed and gun, perfectly balanced armor for 2.3 with a better gun easily used for Rats
