The saddest part is that you would think the Microsoft heads would be more intelligent with how they let games come out on day 1. Tod Howard and the majority of 343i have basically failed when it came to releasing games. See how Microsoft didnt want the game to have the chainsaw and said it was too gory? This is what happens when these big publishers buy up all the good development companies. They push only their "safe" idea and what we get is what is released in todays market. Gears of War 1 & 2 were just special in every way. Gears of War 3 is very good but those first two were amazing.
I went to art school with a bunch of people who studied video game dsign, 3d art, etc. and graduated in 2005. That movie nailed the crazy, anarchic vibe in those crowds at that time. great, great times

For being "over the top and too violent". Just how many games have they ruined or decided to cancel over boneheaded decisions like this? They had the chance to make a helldiver 2 game with the Halo IP and instead of space marines it would be ODST and Microsoft said "we are not interested". Some of the most clueless people have been working there for a LONG time and the new hires are taught to just keep doing this garbage so the problem will never be fixed.
