Full art yugioh cards would be a cool concept, but with how small the font is on cards they'd be very difficult to do unless they went with the direction Magic did and on some full outs just take away the text on the card all together. Of course that would probably only work for normal monsters because someone is gonna pull the "what does this card do?" even though they're likely going to have the same card in it's original form in their own deck. Special rarity would probably be the easiest and I agree that a prize card is only worth what someone will pay for it. That's great that you won a card someone has listed on Ebay for 2k but that doesn't mean they have 2k, it means they want 2k. Same with playmats, took someone 4 years to move the Dragonmaid YGO-Day playmat, it's great that they got $200 for it, eventually.
It has consistently felt like Konami didn't really know what to do with their prizing. I agree that the best way they could do it (at least right now) would be to make something like a "YCS Rare" or "YCS Alternate Art" card. If we wanted it to be even cooler, the winner of the YCS could ask for a particular card to be printed as a YCS Rare. Imagine being able to get your absolute FAVORITE card as a YCS rare, or trying your heart out to get a YCS Rare playset of something like Ash Blossom!
Love the build. I've been playing DW since the structure deck release and love playing solitaire! Ken and gen are great on paper but just get impermed everytime so I cut them, so i'm interested to try the toons. I'm going to test the same list for now - 2 DWD for +1 talents, +1 into the void, ultimately not huge changes but my danger line up will probably differ too because im a mothman enjoyer. Toon summoned skull in foil is quite pricey, as well as chicken game in common will ruin my all foil deck but its the price I muse pay for higher consistency. Hopefully they ban shifter and then its just droll and bystials to worry about :D
So the problem I was having was oyu draw into them and they brick you since sanc wants to discard lurrie so it really doesnt help that much other than bodies. plus extra deck space is very important. I think they do much better in SunnyP's build then in this one
When I saw the thumbnail I was hoping you played a copy of Toon World to be able to summon it and confuse your opponent so much they just pack up and leave. But still a cool idea, do you think it would work for deck thinning in other decks that have a toon that match their type?
I saw this mixes with Shaddolls, that's the only thing I needed to hear, I also want to ty and mix it with Branded Synchro, but for now I'm enjoying it a lot with my dolls
It's a good strategy, but wasn't made for blind second, it's design for going second be a possibility. And he didn't brick, is a bad hand, but can end on Caesar, Doc, follow-up, a yugioh normal hand, but this isn't normal times unfortunately.
It’s not TCG but I think it’s interesting: in the Master Duel ranked Ladder I’ve been doing well with a super high handtrap + bystial list with 11 “engine” and that has been reichheart, because so far I haven’t found another normal summon that eats handtraps that way, without other scareclaw monsters!
I like the list i'm just not a fan of phantazmay with ht other than nibiru (that u play in this case), droll or shifter (if the deck affords to play it, which is not the case here). IMO if u use phantazmay going 2nd, you want to see either more engine to start/extend your plays, or non-engine capable of playing through the interruptions your opponent might have, and drawing imperm/veiler in those circunstances is not good (ash is better to draw but not great however), because by the time you can use phantazmay is normally too late to ht against most decks (specially when fiendsmith se can play through ash, veiler and imperm and pretty much make full board anyway). Besides that, i like the approach you're taking here, combining bystials with the synchron/lightsworn cards for tuner access (assault synchron is a very underated card, good to see some use). Keep pushing and hopefully i wasn't too harsh on the comment xD
@@josepharmstrong6852 my point wasn't about the bystials (if u draw bystials is great nothing wrong with that), its about the ht (specially imperm/veiler, even ash to a certain point but with the synergy with the genex synchro monster in this build is a fine inclusion). I would play blowout ht (specified above) and/or boardbreakers/power spells instead of 1 for 1 ht that most of the time (in this format) just lets you handloop yourself for little to no reward.
I recommend playing 1 Raiden 1 lumina. If you happen to mill the Raiden, you can search the lumina and revive the Raiden, or if you mill the lumina you don't care anyway. It's also a spellcaster for Selene, after which you can revive Raiden again if you want to.
@@Sparda900 I do not currently sadly. I learned in testing very quickly and sadly that those slots were better used for more hand traps at the NAWCQ so a full list I never made
Incredible. It's the perfect way to play Tenpai in my opinion, baiting handtraps, strong going 1st, great follow up and easy OTK. If you win dice roll (like me on Spain Nationals, I won all of them and it was awful, all my rivals knew what I was playing and Duel 1 was extremely hard) it's the most optimal play to start. I hope I can get one engraver more, I have only one and two tract and I think it's enough. Not optimal but at least I can use them. Thank you and greetings from spain!!
