I roller skate, and just yesterday I was having a grand time at the park, and I had a whiplash and hit my head pretty hard on the Ramp, it was really scary. My left eye got blind spots in the vision, and I was seeing like colors in a c shape, but I went away pretty quickly. I did get a lot better overnight, now won’t risk it again. Always will wear a helmet when skating bowls or ramps.
Early, i dont know if yous are still active but i have to ask at 1.19 the board his showing, what is the correct way to ride that board. is the line in the griptape at the back or front of the board when you ride ? Thanks if this can get answered.
I bounced my head once and felt sick for a few days. Went to the hospital and I had a concussion. After some time healing I got back to the park with my helmet on and had another bad flop. Only this time my head was fine. The fact I did't wear one for so long gives me chills bro.
I just bought my first skateboard and helmet. I figure I'm going to look pretty ridiculous starting out anyway, and even though the risk sounds small when you're riding fairly slowly to learn, I'd as soon be safe than sorry. I've seen one too many videos about people with traumatic brain injuries.
Helmet's are always so uncool and pussy like until you knock your head then they seem so amazing ...... I have been skating for 3 years always with helmet many groups dont skate with me some of my friends ditched me all because of my helmet. I still have by brain and full health One of my skater friends 3 months ago hit his head and now has epilepsy ................ Wear a helmet and fuck other people opinions!
