His defense is not so-so, it’s below average. His baserunning is also below average. But his hitting is so good that it will put him over the top. I agree with you, he already won. I don’t think he cares much about that. He’s trying to get generational wealth.

Kay just assuming Judge will hit the same in the post-season is like just assuming Kershaw will pitch the same in the post-season. He is the worst clutch hitter....which includes the post-season....ever. Period. End of story. Look at his stats. ESPECIALLY from his 62 HR MVP season. JUST. AS. BAD.

If the playoffs are a crapshoot, why have the astros made it to seven straight ALCS’s? Why have they been to four WS’s over that period? Are they just really good at the crapshoot game? If the playoffs are really a crapshoot, then what does it even mean to win a WS? If it’s a crapshoot, then the MLB playoffs are really no different than a rock/paper/scissors tournament or a game of Keno. If it’s a crapshoot, then teams should feel more pride ending the season with the best record than winning the WS. It’s Cashman talking points to excuse for his failures. The year before they stumbled into early wins. They lost a bunch of games but still made the playoffs. Don’t forget we got embarrassed by Philly. The amount of times fans have been embarrassed is on MAARA.
I think one of the problems with the fans and with Judge is that it often appears he is ONLY trying to hit home runs with runners in scoring position...he takes wild swings and seems to be trying to pull those outside breaking balls instead of going with the pitch... certainly nobody can argue that during this slump he is striking out far too much.
They figured it out pitch around Judge and Soto and the Yankees aren't doing much.. There not giving anything down the plate waist high to Judge or Soto
