Mind if I ask if someone from the band arranged this themself or did you guys play someone else's arrangement? I'm organizing a combo of four and I'm trying to find a decent arrangement of this piece.
Wonderful performance!! Sadly, many of those in attendance had to listen to the chatter around them. This music richly rewards the attentive listener. But it is habitual. Some audience members seem to think that a generalized and superficial listening is enough. I could go on on and on, but I want to listen to this amazing music.
Sweet. Nice balance in the individual instruments! I usually tune in and out if the sound is not too swift-- my ears do the thinking. The pulsing has me staying, enjoying and letting the world and crazy news go for some other time.
Why only a handful of people listened? That's Jazz for you!!!!.. Anyway....those that understand know these guys are very good....(tenor player myself) Wanna hear some more please...
Poor Americans. Having masks. Bass player looks like he will die. Poor man can’t brief…BUT! It sounds!!!! Amazing sound of drums . Everyone is on very high level
Just some observations on this recording, I know it is not studio stuff, but Drums too high in the mix, bass needs to be a little more up, Sax is fine, Keys Arte mostly fine, could kick up a little. No big, I see you are in a Bar, that's makes it tough, however, they now have those amazing recording mics with 16 of more mics built in to fix the mix on live recording.
