I bought a 24 elantra hybrid limited, I am regretting it already! The fucking thing beeps and says consider taking a break and shows coffee and does it every 5 to 10 minutes no matter what and this year Hyundai decided to take the option to turn it off away!!!!! Also the car has wired apple play and they took wireless away from the blue trim! They could have updated infotainment but choice not to. They took away the spare tire. You can’t make it to where it only beeps when it thinks you’re getting in a crash but minimize the radar. So it will lock the brakes up when someone turns in front of you! Only time will tell but i don’t see it lasting 10 years/100,000 miles. Avoid the Hyundai/Kia at all costs!!!
I didn’t even know they made a microwave that high up mangoes to 1250 but game 2500s and it’s gonna take you that long to thaw out your food. That’s nuts.
That's pretty hardcore, man. I had considered doing that, but parts of my shield had dragged on the road so much that there was nothing left to glue together. Rather than macguyver it, I bought some aftermarket shields which are sadly thin and flimsy. Seeing your effort here with the epoxy, I may keep the superior factory shields and cut/expoxy the missing pieces from the 3rd party replacements. Thanks again for posting all this to the 'tube!
I'm sorry to hear that you got some cheaper ones. When looking at these in the beginning I actually thought they were plastic and not fiberboard. I use self mixing epoxy pretty often I even repair plastic with it. Thinking about it now I could have reinforced it With Pieces of zip tie glued into the epoxy. Sometimes I have to replace it I have little strips of fiberglass that I will put into the epoxy to make it a little bit stronger but don't forget to leave it in the sun I believe it cures better. Thanks for watching
So its safe to say on my 9.9 with no spark my repeated tries of starting just filled the exhaust with unburnt fuel causing this leak? I was about ready to throw in the towel on her.
For the cost of the setup I feel like you could have paid the extra utilities cost many times over. Still a pretty neat “made it work” setup. Retirement fun
I have built it as a hobby. i have about 2k invested. without the AC I can run my whole basement off of this. with the sun out if the power is out I can run my beer fridge and my TV lol. MY battery back up will only last about 4 hours
@@RobHereAKATrev2323💚 agree 👍 I use steamer for cleaning bed but I forgot they are termite infested wooden frame i maybe trow them away and get inflatable bed 🛌 until we move out the house 🏠 😅 😀 15 days moving sooner looks like
Techs are not detailers. No reason for a mechanic to touch anything else. Plus, there's the possible liability of something unrelated going wrong, and the customer blames the tech, because he had his hands all over the engine bay. Can't believe I had to explain this. Not sure how you clean, the engine bay hasn't been touched in a while. This is ridiculous.
thank you wasnt looking for a detail just a wipe down even at least by the oil reservoir I just had no idea how bad this engine bay looked. Next time I buy a new car and they say I dont need to open the hood for anything I will question... Then who will clean the bay?
@@RobHereAKATrev2323 I'm doing the same job this weekend on the front engine and driver fender splash guards. Hoping to dodge some of the headaches you had! Thanks for posting the video, btw. Should prove very helpful.
OK thank you. I was only wondering because when we bought the car we were told we shouldnt open the hood because its under warranty.. Now i will to maintain the cngine compartment
This is goofy. You paid for an oil change. Not a detail. Just because you do it, doesn’t mean they have to. If it only takes 5 minutes then just do it yourself. you’re a grown man complaining about nothing.
im going to have to disagree with you on here, they're there to change your oil, not clean your engine bay. they pay techs 0.30 an hour to change the oil with is 18 minutes. they don't have time to clean your engine bay. also, your statement about you can never open the hood during warranty is incorrect. magnus and moss warranty act allows you to maintain your car outside of the dealership. so you can even change your own oil while under warranty. just keep receipts and write down the milage and use the correct oil/filter. also, you bought it used, unless its a cpo, the warranty its out of warranty. the 10 year 100k miles is only for the original owner. if it is sold (cpo being an exception), the it reverts to 5 year 60k miles. now, you bought it from a kia dealer which is partially owned by Hyundai so it might be a cpo but I would double check if I were you.
Thank you very much for this information. We bought it with 10,000 miles on it in 2017. We just hit 70,000 miles. We had the oil pan replaces and It was covered by the warranty. We bought the extended warranty. the oil pan was going to be 500.00 to replace and it was only a 100 deductible. When we were sold the car we were told .. you dont need to open the hood for anything well take care of everything we just need it here for the regular oil changes. Therefore I never opened the hood for anything.
@@RobHereAKATrev2323 okay, extended warranties are different. they aren't warranties under the magnes and moss warranty act but rather service contracts, the dealer can, as a part of the stipulation of the contract, make you come to the dealership.
One thing you can do to make this less messy is to use a nail or something on the old filter before you remove it. Drive the nail into the bottom of the filter, then remove it to drain the filter. Less mess
Agree 👍 wait to see here overpriced Cara and they don't even come to be cheap to pay annually tax greek 1.800cc engine tax 320/360 1.900cc 600/650 euro ) Bulgarian tax hp based 147hp 320 And more you have goes fast also premium tax if later than 2017 And if too old lol 😂 Best price braked in Bulgaria 🇧🇬 Being 2016 2017 year models it's cheaper
@@RobHereAKATrev2323 I love us 🇺🇸 Greece if 65 liters 128 euros If 45liters 89.1 euros lol 😆 I like more us cars true engine born to work here non will stay long cause crap quality of service and small engines pushed to the limits they don't service them regularly they just sell it once seen 180.000 km 250.000 km nobody looks manufactory if car failing parts to be fixed if mileage is overdue
This maybe the dumbest video I’ve ever seen. You sir have no respect for mechanics. Almost every mechanic is paid on flat rate I can say for sure there is NO mechanic detailing your engine bay during an oil change
Best way I wash all my rugs. Pressure washer. One difference. As a final rinse I hang mine on my fence halfway and do each side. Leaving them on the ground it's hard to get all the soap out. Hanging on the fence everything rolls down and is perfectly soapless. Then I flip it to the other side.
Ya’ll miss the point. It’s a multituse ladder for the average homeowner where space is a commodity. Ain’t nobody storing an extension ladder and an a frame.
Wow! Long time burner herre. That is a great setup. Did you test for how long you can run AC with that power bank? We just bought a mini van camper for the burn and other adventures and looking to lock down our AC soon. I was looking at the Ecoflow Delta batteries and their Flow AC/Heater. Looks like a lot easier to put together, but probably more expensive than your setup. Feel free to message direct if you have any questions about the burn. Happy to help.
