Ever have a flat tire fixed? You should know this  

What's going on everybody rob here with a little video on having a flat tire fixed. You have a car at some point in your having a car is going to be having to have a flat tire fixed or a tire changed. One thing I always say is Make sure when they put your tire back on or your rim back on that they torque your lug nuts to Spec. a Lot of places Would rather over tighten your lug nuts to ensure your tire is not gonna fall off on the expressway. All It takes is a little Google Search and you can find what the torque specs are for your lug nuts on your particular vehicle. When you over tighten the lug nuts you actually stretch the wheel stems and you stretch the threads in the wheel stems and that's how the wheel stems can crack off and break off. If you talk to lug nuts to Spec you do not have to worry about the wheel stems breaking off. If I have to stop and get a flat tire fixed and I'm not around my own torque wrench I know I normally torque my lug nuts to 100 foot pounds of torque. If they do not have a torque wrench wherever I'm getting my tire fixed I will go ahead and just use my own bar to tighten the lug nuts myself. I do Not let them use the impact on my lug nuts
