You did a great job with this. Folks should know, even Bill Murray’s likeness in this is a miracle, never mind 450 lines. He was the hard no to Ghostbusters 3 in the 90s
I always thought the original 1st game was cool, I never played the 2nd or knew anything about its missions, so I had a lot of fun exploring everything in this remake, I Got the platinum for this today and I’d give it 8 out of 10. Great video btw.
I don't hold it against the remaster for not having multiplayer. For one thing it probably just wouldn't have worked on switch, also if the couldn't reuse the old code and didn't want to slap something together in an update when the rest actually had effort in it more power to them. The remaster, like many, enabled a whole new generation to play it, myself included.
We all know the real reason they effed up and didn’t release the multiplayer on the remaster: so that they could push people to that piss poor FPS version.

Its mind boggling why we dont have a sequel to this. I dont want a pvp online multiplayer. I want a single player THIRD person action adventure. The lack of GB video game content the fans want is sickening.
this game has really a special charm when i rented it for my 360. the german version had almost all german voice actors from both movies, which gave the game even more charm, i´m not understand way the german dub is not included in the remastered version.
I would enjoy a proper remaster and really appreciate a real remake. If you consider what’s possible with unreal Engine 5 it´s ridiculous that no one puts money in it
Okay finally finished! This was AWESOME, I love the interviews and how much behind the scenes content and all the scrapped ideas you included! Easily could have watched the “This video would have taken so long you’d never see it” cut! Can’t wait to see your other deep dives and retrospectives, and come back to this one in the future!
This was an awesome deep-dive, thank you so much! I remember I first played it on an old laptop & said laptop was deeply unhappy about the whole affair; had a frame-rate like an asthmatic snail 😵💫 I didn't care though~ I loved it!
I still have both copies of the games that works on my Xbox 360 but they are not recognised on my Xbox one. Anyway Played these two games more than any of the GTA games. Loved the unique vehicle's you could find steal and buy.
I swear I'm responsible for us getting the remaster in 2019. I put up a post asking for a remaster on Reddit a couple years before and it drew quite a bit of interest (For the Ghostbusters sub Reddit anyway) a guy came in who seemed to know a hell of a lot about the game code and where it could be. He said the studio had shutdown and he thought the code was in one of the developers garages in storage and that they probably wouldn't be able to find all of it. He said he would speak to the developer to find out about the code. A couple years later we got the remaster and low and behold some of the code was missing. We didn't get all the logo screens music at the start as it was lost. A few other bits were lost but I can't remember what they were now as it's been a while.
The multiplayer code was also lost, and the code for the FMV cutscenes I think, which is why they are in mono audio and slightly lower quality than originally. I don’t get it though, in the FMV’s they somehow got rid of the Cadillac logo on Ecto One.
We should have the idw comics Ghostbusters to be a TV show they're amazing and the rookie has a team of Ghostbusters in the comics stationed in Chicago
CAN WE PLZ GET A SEQUEL WITH OPEN WORLD MANHATTAN, SO WE CAN ACTUALLY DRIVE THE DAMN CAR , THERES NO WAY THEY DIDNT THINK OF IT but i have a feeling the graphics took up too much memory i guess
