Oh please…. the music 😢 I was so distracted & couldn’t hear you clearly. I’m new at crocheting and wish your amazing teaching didn’t have the background music.😬🤷🏻♀️😢hopefully you will consider a redo on this tutorial granny square video.🙏Thank you 🩷**BACKGROUND MUSIC NOT NECESSARY**
This is very easy to do, just put a granny cluster (3dc in same sp) between each granny cluster from the previous row and 3dc, ch2, 3dc in each corner. Or instead you can put one dc in each stitch across the sides and then 2dc, ch2, 2dc in each corner, for a more solid looking square.
@@LullabyLodge Thank you for your reply. I did try it on my own, and it looks pretty good! I will do the next one and follow your instructions. Thank you so much!
That's a great idea for a new video! I don't have this in triangle form but I do in hexagons - www.lullabylodge.com/2019/06/granny-flower-hexagons-learn-how-to.html
I just finished knitting socks in this yarn and it makes lovely feeling socks. It’s very slippy though and I dropped many stitches but it was worth the hassle. Love your autumn colours ❤
There is a lot more info about the yarn I totally forgot to talk about, so please check out the accompanying blog post right here- www.lullabylodge.com/2024/08/yarnsmiths-merino-sock-solids-prints.html
Made it! Such a fun and cute project - I think mine turned out a little bigger probably because of my tension 😊 but it will be great when I need it! Love granny squares and small beginner friendly projects to make useful things 😊
At 1:05 you said to work your way around with single crochets, so I did single crochets all the way around. I didn’t realize that I’d have to stop at the corner stitch and do three singles 😩 now to undo it
Thank you for this! I love crocheting flower granny squares, but have a hard time staying focused on the super complicated ones. These whip up quickly and are enjoyable to make ❤
Try counting your stitches on the first round, you should have 12 dc. If your stitch count is wrong on the first round, it will throw off the whole square.
What a great video...short, sweet and to the point!! I hate these videos that ramble on and on, talking about everything but what you're watching them for...what they had for dinner...where they bought the yarn...who cares??? If I see one more video where I want to make a moss stitch, for instance...and they start off with a detailed explanation of a slip knot...I'm on to the next video. We're not all idiots!!! I have subscribed based on this video. It was only 5 minutes long...love it!!
@pattyann4283 these instructions are basic among the basic. If one wants to make this one, they should learn first how to do basics. Your comment is inappropriate for telling her a poor teacher. 🙄
Thank you so much for your very clear instructions. This is the first time I've watched you on RU-vid, I am now subscribed and will continue to follow your channel. 🧶
