PSA Armory, on sale, $99 and mag cylinder free. For now. Act quick. Just got my mag cylinder. have a 6.5 inch on order and will order the free cylinder for it also before it runs out.
Actually a 22 well it won't bounce around inside of a bear's skull like a pinball, causing Max damage. That's why they were a prime choice for Mafia hitmen.
Cheap gun.. fun gun.. I hate the look of the safty.. Got mine on black friday from acadamy for $109 out the door in 22 lr with a coupon for 22 WMR for 25 bucks.. still hate the look of the safety
I just purchased the replacement ejector rod with the aluminum tab from a fella on eBay. Seems to be a nice durable alternative to the stock plastic one.
I bought a RR convertable. After 200 rounds i noticed what looked like cutting torch marks in frame on each side of barell. They stood behind warranty, replacing frame and rebuilding gun. Even showing old frame to prove it was not reused. 2 years later i went to go shooting and noticed frame screws on bottom were loose, i retightened 2, the 3rd screwhead snapped off. Sold ot and got a ruger single six
I got the 6.5" barrel because I wanted to use primarily .22 WMR in it. Magnum ammo is not as effective out of a short barrel, at that point you may as well just use .22 LR. The extra energy is wasted out the barrel as noise instead of propelling the bullet.
There is a video here comparing different length barrel rough riders with a chronograph and both ammo types, results showed that actually the 4.something inch barrel gave just slightly higher velocity. Longer barrel added nothing but more resistance for the round to get out of the barrel, because of the cylinder gap extra barrel length doesn't help. 22wmr does give a benefit but not as much as in a rifle, because all the powder doesn't have a chance to ignite before the round leaves the barrel. Shoot something up close with it and you'll see unburnt power all over what you were shooting at with both ammo types.
I just can't bring it in my heart to kill an animal I can eat meat but I just can't take something's life shit fucks with me how the fuck do you all do that shit
My RR developed a timing issue out of nowhere! First shot always fires but after that it's hit and miss. I will shoot everytime if I manually seat the cylinder in place😢
Nice look at a fun gun. I just recently purchased the buffalo nickel 22Mag cylinder for my RR and already had the buffalo nickel grips, so most likely will use it in conjunction with my Ruger 10/22 collection as a combo system. 22lr out of a rifle has mostly the same velocity as 22Mag out of the 6" revolver. Cheers!
Thnaks for making this but i used a hammer to put the new alternator in because I don't have welding stuff.... All in all i appreciate you for making this video 💯✌🏽💪🏾🙏🏽
Note: opossums are one of the best animals you can have on your property. They come for the 1000s of ticks. Don't dispatch them. Too many die because they duh when crossing a road. They are also immune to rabies, so No fear there. Great vid. Thanks.
Hell yeah, this is a very utilitarian gun. Yeah it's great for planking but the 22 magnum is going to come in handy for small game hunting. At the very least if you're not going to get the 22 magnum cylinder you could get some CCI rat shot for your 22LR cylinder and this makes a hell of a snake gun. Mine has a 6-inch barrel. Bear country? 😂 I wouldn't be caught dead walking anywhere with just this. Here in Texas we may not have bear but we do have hogs. Good Old Henry 45-70 gov't will take care of them real quick
I once saw a gun page where the presenter said “My gun is loaded, I don’t care what you think. My gun is for shooting”. It was a relief to see someone that acts like a gun is a gun.
Yep. An empty and totally cleared gun is nothing more than a paperwieght or doorstop. But today it's all about "thafety". He'll if you don't know your gun is cleared, not unloaded, then maybe your an idiot. Not you but you get my point I hope.
Yeah, proper gun safety is for losers. Usually losers of life and limbs but exercising proper gun safety is only something old people scared of guns would do....mainly because everyone is dead
You can purchase an all-metal ejector rod nowadays from aftermarket for $25, shipped, neatly eliminating the sole weak plastic point in the ejector rod tab.
This is the first of two dozen or more videos I have watched on the Heritage revolvers where someone said the ejector part broke. So I doubt it is a common problem for those that release it slowly. I wonder if a file is available for doing a 3D printout of the part.
TL:DR: 4:37 The "one problem" is that the ejector tab is made out of plastic and breaks somewhat easily, at least for this gentleman. But good grief, get to the point. You're welcome.
With the aid of your video I got my alternator installed and running today on Christmas! Many thanks from me and my family AND a Merry Xmas to you sir. Tim
