The only problem I have is you say you gotta use an xacto knife. No. To remove an O-ring, you use a pick. But, sure use the Xacto Knife with the razor blade. Use a tweezers or a Straight Pin. Keep the pin and dogbone end in a plastic bag.
i just did this tutorial and it worked well but no it spins out supoer easy. like cant turn without spinning out. i wonder if its because i have a larger battery than stock that might be pulling it or maybe i just suck at drviing 2wd. its very easy to spin and feels impossibld to drift. any ideas?
i did this to my rc car, it isnt the same as yours its cheap ash but i rwd converted it and it isnt getting enough power to the back wheels idk what to do, probably gonna replace the motor w sum bigger
So best to take out front diff and removed dog bone..make it RWD it handles better FOR RCP track only not drift, then it acts like a stock mini RWD..ends the pushing thru corners and the quick deceleration in turns..BUT get 11mm rear tire with tread and lo pro 8.5 slick in front..then you’ll smoke stock mini z cuz of the 130 motor it comes with and lipo
I used vice grips to smash the rear plastic arms all most flat and they got longer and that fixed the toe in problem in the rear I have to say over all I am not impressed with the way the metal parts fit and operate.
If you going to change it to rubber tires it wil be hard to drift it bcs it has to much grip and that's why the gave you hard plastic tires bcs they dont grip alot
Yo dude 😎👌looks like a cool build😎👌 If you do strip the threads you can use liquid super glue on a pin and try to spread the super glue around the walls of the stripped hole, once you have good coverage, and it's dry, the hole will be fixed and ready to take the screw again😎👌I learned that one from Beavers Hobby channel....... another great channel for inspiration is Raizamalik channel👍
