It's been like 8 years since I've made a youtube comment but I'm a former manufacturing/materials engineer of 12 years. That mount with screws in your offroad setup will punch straight through that helmet and snap your jaw or even unalive you with enough force. The road setup is great because it's offset and hanging from the helmet so it'll break off but the offroad one being set deep into the slot with screws is just asked to get your jaw broke and screws for teeth. I'd recommend using a TPU mount which is a flexible 3D printed plastic that will absorb road vibrations, it'll make your shots even clearer, they use it a lot in the FPV drone world. I'd also not use screws and just glue a 1/2" to 1" riser pad off the helmet to bring it out of that slot in the helmet. That way the mount breaks off.
Yeah! I hear what you’re saying and thank you for the feedback. I know this just been taking the risk, I’ll definitely look at considering a new off roading setup, maybe just glue like you said 🤝
Amazing content bro.. I never thought will start moto blogging but you made me start it. Still not able to shoot the content what I actually want to shoot but yeah learned a lot from you will start doing it soon.
I have a 2015 Yamaha R3, and honestly, I prefer the old design over the new one. The tank design on the new one is better, but the front of the old one is way cooler, except for the crappy headlight (it's so dark).
Awesome video! I have the gunpowder black 2023 cb650R Love the bike! Its my first bike ever, can't have enough of it. Btw where is this beautiful place you a riding?
Im really lost on if I should get the Insta360 ace pro or Hero 12.... I love the look of the Hero 12 on other videos, but the Ace Pro looks insane in this one. Which one do I get?! HELP hahah
when you export the video with the editing program whether Adobe Premiere or DaVinci, how do you export with VBR or CBR? and how many mbps bitrate do you set?
Yeah! Have you edited your SLOG3 footage before? If so it’ll be the same colour grading process. Convert SLOG3 to Rec.709 with Sony conversion Lut then add this creative Lut from my Lut pack🤝
@@JayJankulovski I need to be educated but I thought you just throw the lut and make minor adjustments and that’s it. But you are saying I need to throw a separate lut on before using yours?
@@conn0r_gray537 Yes! If shooting in a LOG picture profile there is an extra step to do, which is converting it to Rec.709. If you shoot in a 'standard' picture profile on your camera which is Rec.709 already all you would have to do is throw the Lut from my pack on, a couple adjustments to your liking and you're good. With LOG footage there is always that extra step that needs to be done :)
@@JayJankulovskiI’m definitely planning on getting your pack but I wanna know how to do it properly. Is there a very common rec 709 Lut that everyone uses for Sony? Like what do you use to convert to 709. Also correct me if I’m wrong but rec 709 is a color correction that makes it as it was on shot. So natural color ?
how do you judge that you have the correct ND filter for the level of sunny-ness or cloudiness??? do you adjust ND filters until the EV auto corrects to 0??
I’ve been filming vids like this for a very long time so I’m really quickly able to choose which one but generally for me, when shooting 30fps 1/60 I use ND16. When shooting 60fps 1/120 I use ND8. I’d start with that then poke your camera outside to see if it looks good and change from there.
Upon sing your link for the Insta360 & free Motorcycle Accessory Bundle, when the standard x4 is added to the cart, the Motorcycle bundle is not added; nor when adding the Motorcycle bundle, the price is not reduced. Is the promo still valid?
Hey man! Yeah the promo is still valid, it should say ‘Promotions’ near the top under the Insta360 X4 product when you click the link. And it says motorcycle bundle kit valued at X price.
@JayJankulovski cheers! It was the Browser that I used to link it...thanks for getting back to me; I just bought one thanks to this video! I aim to learn just the basics to capture good landscapes and a small group of us as we motorbike the Wyoming BDR in a couple weeks ahead!
