This video got me to try out White Day, and I gotta say I'm not done with it yet but its really sick. Really dig how it keeps a tense atmosphere but still gives you the full ability to run around if you know how to not draw attention
Seeing someone else acknowledge the existence of the Theresia game is just so wild because I thought for sure that only five people knew about it and you actually finished it
We need a counter for all the times Jerma is scared by something that was not meant to be scary. He managed to get scared by 2 intentional scares this entire game
Loved this video. If you use the wheel going forward, maybe you ought to include a 'dealer's choice' section on the wheel so you can just choose one you want to play.
The Hamtaro Ham Ham Heartbreak music from boo manor hit me like a nostalgia wrecking ball. Literal chills, instant like even though I'm only a third of the way through!
I love howRU-vid now recommends me these small channels that are genuinely funny and cover topic I care about This is me seeing you for the first time and I am staying
I'm honestly offended that you think Monster House doesn't qualify, that game is a masterpiece. Sure, it's not the scariest, but child me playing the PS2 version was frozen in fear for much of the later levels thank you VERY much
I'm sad that Dementium: The Ward didn't come up, but I would like to ask - if the spinner had landed on it, would you have also discussed its sequel? I love both games wholeheartedly, but Dementium 2 is the superior game, and one of my favorite games on the DS, period. I won't say whether or not it is scarier, as that is vastly subjective, but it is less frustrating with smoother and deeper combat, so do with that what you will. I think both games are worth a look for any and all horror fans, should they have the means to play them (on the DS if possible, though I hope they can be emulated). I will FOREVER be mad that we never got the third game....
I mean this in the best way possible, but this guy both physically and comedically is like if BDG and Kappa Kaiju fused together in a teleportation accident Edit: a word
RU-vid recommended me this channel and what I have to say is not original but its true. Shockingly high production value for only 26k subs. Very good channel. Keep up the good work.
I was given Theresia as a gift because I like puzzle games. I have never talked to anyone else who's even heard of it, so this was fun to watch. Your list is deficient because it should have 999 on it.
Theresia looks so fucking good for a DS GAME????? I get that its oeibably emulated and upscaled, but it legit looks SO IMPRESSIVE FOR A FUCKING DS GAME??????
This video showed up in my recommendeds and I really enjoyed it, so I went back and watched your other videos and now I'm circling back to this one and gosh dang, they are very enjoyable.
You're not wrong about Touch the Dead, the game isn't good and it's rough, like not even fun rough, it's just like constantly fighting an uphill road and there's no reward. There are actual health pickups thought, but they're hidden inside breakable boxes, which most don't even have them so you'll be wasting half a magazine trying to find health while you're getting swarmed, it's really bad, specially with the fact that you have to manually draw the magazine to reload the gun, you waste too much time doing that while in most rail shooters it's instantaneous.
how about at wheel of "horror + a different Genre" so if it lands of RPG you gotta find a Horror RPG, or if it lands on Platformer you gotta find and review a Horror Platformer. Some quick Genre Ideas I have also include: Puzzle, Comedic/Funny, Farming, Retro, Shooter, Simulator, Visual Novel, Shmup (Something like Deathsmiles), Action, Survival. Collectathon, Metroidvania, Multiplayer. and so on. Tho I don't know what to do with games like both Deadly Premonition games cause both a pretty funny and also some sort of survival game. Maybe for those kinds of games you just gotta pick which genre fits best for it. oh yeah btw good video!
Monster House GBA scared the crap out of me as a kid tho I really wouldn't call it a horror game lol And I got starship damry back in the day and I loved it, the biggest complaint I have about it is the expansion that you need to buy one of 3 entirely different games to unlock and none of them really piqued my interest
Len sent me since they know I'm way too into RPG Maker and Wolf Editor stuff. Pretty cool channel so far. About Ao Oni: I mostly agree with the comments you've made, including the game being a whole chase sequence instead of fragmented chase sequences. I will say there's something pretty novel about the game that I've not seen done in other games, which is the party menu screen. At the very end of the game, a character joins the party and every time the room transitions, the party menu shows them morphing into an Ao Oni. Always thought that trick was neat. The game was also very big on NicoNicoDouga and to this day, there's still fan remixes (more like mods) of the game that speeds the action up or include purple Oni or whatever that is. The game also includes a lot of lore, and I would say it's on the same level as Five Night at Freddy's for better or for worse. About Mad Hatter: Wolf RPG does have a lot of differences with the RPG Maker engine. For one, it's closer to something like Unity than RPG Maker's accessibility. You can include a lot of plugins and do some weird stuff. In this year's Wolf RPG Editor contest, there was even a Yume Nikki-like that included a diegetic map and employed a lot of game mechanics that probably wouldn't be possible on pre-RPG Maker VXA engines (unless it's modded 2003). The community for Wolf RPG stuff is quite different from RPG Maker too; they're more tightly-knit and take influences from each other. The music is also royalty-free. You can actually download them right now and use them in your own videos and games if you wish. I haven't played Mad Hatter yet, but I imagine the reason the music works for the game is because the developer picked some unique ones that fit the atmosphere quite well. Anyway, not a bad video. I'll watch more when I have the time. My personal recommendations are Towelket 2 and SWOLLEN TO BURSTING UNTIL I AM DISAPPEARING ON PURPOSE.
