Nonsense I have healed many wounds with medical white cotton, it accumulates the blood and the lymphe wound healing solution and the results are best. This Doctor should apply gauze on himself and his family members next time he/ they get heavily injured. And bear the pain from Gauze. One of the many Misconceptions of medicines. Nothing, NOTHING is better than COTTON! ❤❤
These are actually legit. I had a bad scrape on my heel and this gave good protection and lasted long enough to not feel 'expensive' to use or a pain in the ass to change constantly. The best part is though it really does seem to have magical healing properties compared to the normal bandages i had been using. Not only is it more comfortable on the curved surface of my heel but that wound healed up really fast and clean.
I once got a paper cut on my finger. I normally would just let it heal on its own but I decided to do an experiment and use a band aid with anti bacterial cream. Without the cream and band aid it took 5-7 days for the wound to heal where as without them it took about a month. I think the reasoning behind it is that the skin was moist the whole time it was covered and was able to heal quickly.
I can confirm this is bullshiet marketing to get you to buy their bandaids! Whilst it is true it will protect against bacteria entering it no way i hell helps the wound heal faster! When I was a kid, I skated a lot and would fall a lot so I had lots of injured skin. When I put bandaids over the wounds for a long time, moisture would build up and the injured area would just get all sticky and never harden! If you take the bandaid off and let it harden, the scar heals much faster than what this bs science video suggests! This is factual real life experience!

Maybe, but the hypersensitivity on my most recent wound meant the bandage rubbing against it was actively unpleasant. I let it scab up, and that hard shell guarded the exposed nerves much more so the sensitivity decreased rapidly.

there's no reference to studies? the claims I've seen is that scars are likely to be more visible with bandages, this video seems to confirm this idea as the cells growing into the scab would be influenced by the shape of the wound more than those forced to go around it. me thinks they do protest too much
False. I had an accident on my bike and covered my wounds and they were not healing at all. I was hindering my body’s ability to heal itself until I took the bandages off. The more I kept the scab, the more effective the wound healed. Don’t believe these companies, they’re only after you money. Yes, cover the wound for bleeding/infections purposes, but after that take the bandage off because your body has to take care of itself.
This is very interesting and makes me wanna injure myself and see the healing process through covered wound, cause ive been letting my wounds dry up since i was a kid
scabs ARE natures bandages.. scabs cover your wound so that no infection happens while inside the cells heal themselves. stop giving false information.
