I have a Airborne skyhawk and Giant Trance X. I have more fun riding my local trails on my DJ. Sometimes I wish I got a slopestyle bike instead of having a DJ and an enduro.
Hey, I just went and rode your backyard trails, it was piled up with leaves but once me and my friend shoveled and raked it off it was as good as new. My friend said that him and another person have rode those trails with you a couple of times, I have never got to meet you sadly, but if you ever come up to WOM you should ride with us again.
Been riding Bluebell each day since opening. I finally got the nerve to do that first nice drop. Did the wall ride. But I'm not ready to go off the end like you did. Haven't built up to Full Monte yet. I'm learning a lot and so happy we have these great trails here at home! Learning how to do tables and drops. I'm already getting better. Today, there were probably 15-20 riders socializing and hitting the trails. So fun!
Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville AL. They’re on trail forks. If you can’t find them go to the bikers lot, ride down Tally Ho and the intersection is right there.
Nice work! Trails looks amazing 🤘🏾 hitting the road now to check out the trails in monte sano for the first time. hope i can find these trails 😅🤞 Any tips on where to park closest to these trails? I know the park is quite large
If you haven’t, check out Baker’s Creek preserve and Marie Meyer’s year ‘round get down in South Knox, TN. Get on Devil’s Race Track, Party in the Woods, Gitty Up. Cruise Valley is a green flow that’s super fun yet easy to ride
Think only one size. Don’t believe it’s fragile at all. I’d say it’s one of the strongest slopestyle frames. However it is unstable at high speeds but that’s just how all dirt jump bikes are. They’re made for maneuverability not stability.
Place looks amazing, nice riding! Planning a NC/TN trip this fall and had Walden's on the shortlist. I thought it was all tech though, didn't realize its got so much variety and flow. Edit: It's getting better as the video continues ... Dale Bermhardt looks sick!
Is it good to use a slope on a pump track? And what do you think about a Specialized P Slope (2020) with a Pike(35mm) vs a NS Soda Slope with a manitou circus Expert (32mm) ?
Go for specialized p slope just for the pike dj. circus expert are coil assisted and pike dj full air and better suspension. frame wise, either one is good.
As for pump track. you can use it, lower the rebound and put more air pressure on both rear and front shock. mine is on 160 or more psi upfront and and 250 or more psi rear as i ride both skatepark and pump track.
Bread & Butter, Ollie, Dale Bermhardt, Bullwinkle & Pocket Rockets! BEST for riding along...(but I do 'em all). Thank you for having favorites! ❤ ST JOHN 3:16! ❤
Nice review. Had mine almost a year, but i also ride a Torque. The 720 is awesome, but i have changed loads, some things just for personal preference but other for function. I swapped to Halo Chaos wheels mostly for more hub engagement. 50mm rise Title bars and 35mm stem. Im 6ft 2. Js1 seat for the same reason as you, to move it back and create some space for barspins. One thing i added was a hydraulic gyro, i like that it can do countless barspins without the cable becoming an issue, but the gyro has quite alot of friction and you either need to throw the bars harder or bus them around, the friction also makes the steering feel odd at low speed as the wheel doesn't naturally flop into the turn when you lean the bike. I might revert to a brake cable agin when the gyro needs a service, just to see which i prefer. I hope that Canyon US and CA solve the dustribution issue as those guys are missing out on an awesome bike
Well lets hope in comes available in the US, but first, gotta find some money!!! I may just sell my trail bike... I don't much like climbing as it is... lol
bruh just sand the spot where its cracked and find a cheap welder buddy or a welder machine and just add a little chunk and sand down to match original weld and your bike is back….
